He has played with it in all kinds of imaginary games he makes up with other dinosaurs and non-dinosaur toys. Lots of fun open-ended free play opportunities. It has some neat features. Two buttons on it's back can be pressed to make sounds and either open the Pteranodon's mouth or flap it's wings. My son loves the sounds it makes. I do wish there was a way to turn them off or turn the volume down on them as they can start to get annoying after awhile. The quality seems to be pretty good, and the wings can fold up to make it more compact. My son has played with it a lot so far, including some rough play with no problem. I would be a little worried part of the wings could snap off with consistent very rough play. Even with a broken arm and pins she is having a blast. The sounds are awesome but the wing and mouth action makes it that much more incredible. They are a great size and the motion and noises were an awesome added bonus. My 12 year old loved it! It's been a week since we got it and he still sleeps with it and loves that it &quot;flies.&quot; He chases his younger siblings around and have such great fun. Goes great for all age groups that loves Dinos. I was a little worried because it looked a little flimsy with the active tail and wings but have even taken a beating from my 2 year old.
