The detail is on point and the action features are great, but I wish it had more articulation. <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is obsessed with dinos and I honestly didn't think there was a single dino toy out there that he didn't know exactly what it was and every little fact about it. But, I had never seen this dinosaur before, which is why I picked it, and he apparently never has either! It's so much different than his other dinosaurs and that uniqueness really helps it stand out for him. It's not just another T-Rex, it's a Scorpious Rex and it looks meaner and tougher than any other dino he has!
He loves that it makes noises and opens its mouth with the push of a button and thr button is easy for him to push and access while playing. There's also another button that allows the arms to move. The description talked about a tail slinging action but it's kind of hard to do. The tail doesn't move too much but when you pull it to one side and let go, it whips back into place. He thinks that it's cool but I think it was a but hyped up in the description.
My son did notice that the arms and legs have a bit of movement to them side to side instead of just being able to move forward and back, which is cool and offers more of a variety of play, like being able to hold onto other dinos or objects. Overall, I think it's a great toy and he hasn't stopped playing with it yet.</span>
