He&rsquo;s ferocious and surely rivals the T-Rex as king of the dinos! He has two buttons on his back. One makes his mouth open and he lets out a roar. The other moves his arms along while also playing a dino sound. This toy is likely better suited for a little older child as my four year old found him to be a little too intimidating. The sounds are fun but are particularly loud. It would be a benefit to be able to quiet it a bit. The movements triggered by the buttons on the back and the tail are quite entertaining. My young boys enjoy the sounds and really like making the dinosaur eat other figures and toys. The sound effects are not overly loud but there's also no way to turn them off. Definitely one of the better looking dinosaur toys, looking more realistic instead of cartoony. There is a simple button to press that operates the open/shut function of his mouth. The colors are nice and the red of the eyes gives it that scary look! This dino in particular gave us a hard time trying to keep it standing but we quickly figured out the perfect pose to keep it upright. There were some molding flaws like extra leftover plastic by it&rsquo;s feet that wasn&rsquo;t cut off but it was an easy fix. The size is great, big enough to stage great scenes with, but not so large that my 7 year old son can't take it with him to the park or to a friend's house. One of the buttons on the back can be pushed to move the front arms up and down and and make the dino roar. The second button makes the dino's jaws snap open and shut and lets out another roar. We did notice that sometimes the buttons will get stuck when they are pushed down, but they pop back up after a few seconds. The overall design is great, very detailed and realistic looking. The pose-able arms and legs make it easy to position the dinosaur in a variety of poses, and it stays upright without toppling over. The toy seems durable, it's been knocked over and onto the floor a bunch of times and works just fine. My son has enjoyed using this in various play scenes with other dinosaur toys, toy cars, and other figures that he has. My 6yr old son absolutely loves this figure and its features, in fact as I write this review he is chomping other Dino's with the Stinger! This figure is based on the Netflix show Camp Cretaceous. If your child hasn't seen this, as they should, its great, they will quickly recognize this sharp toothed creature. The toy itself is very well built and comes with both moving appendages as well as sounds. My son's favorite feature of the action figure is that the gnarly teeth of the Slash 'n' Battle provide excellent grip to devour its prey!
