Nice quality material and great details. My son is 5 years old and still very much into dinosaurs. He like this Raptor and played with it plenty. Little guy figurine is good addition too. Only thing my son complained about is that dinosaurs didn't have any articulation. He said he'd loved it to open it's jaw or move it's legs. The dinosaur is cute but fierce. It is just the right size to fit in my child's hand. It doeant have any movable parts, which is nice being that I have a younger child in the house, I don't have to worry about pieces and parts falling off. My child doesn't have much interest in the additional figure that comes with it. For that purpose they're superb. If you're looking for a toy that your little ones will really play with this is a little limited. The dinosaur doesn't &quot;do&quot; anything, meaning no chomping or movable parts like arms or anything. How great was it that Mattel combined his favorite subject of dinosaurs with his favorite film! I cannot tell you the joy I felt watching him reenact his favorite scene. I am so glad that it's built solid because my grandson has taken him to school, the beach, the bathtub and through the muddy jungle in our backyard. My son is five and a half years old. He loved the toy at first. Could not wait to get it out of the box. He quickly incorporated the toy into his city that is set up in his playroom. He enjoyed playing w the dinosaur and letting it &ldquo;attack&rdquo; the town. After about an hour he became a little bored with the toy. It only has one body part that moves (the tip of the Dino&rsquo;s tail). I think children that are younger would enjoy the toy longer but kids that are my son&rsquo;s age or older will probably become bored since there are not many things the Dino can actually do. If there were more parts that could move I think his interest would be kept much longer. The Dino itself is cute and it is very well made. Not easily destroyed even if it is thrown so it is &ldquo;little boy proof&rdquo;. He started playing but lost interest when he noticed only its tail can move. It is cute and unique but it needs to do more like bite or move its neck and limbs. The blue velociraptor dinosaur is small and lightweight, which is well suited for young children. The dinosaur character can stand on its hands and feet or sit up on its back feet and tail. The tail can be rotated 360 degrees. We are impressed with the attention to detail in the character&rsquo;s features such as the claws on the hands and feet. Nice to have the Owen character included in the set for fun and imaginative play. I think the name of the toy is a bit deceiving because this toy does not bite or even open its mouth, which the title would lead you to believe. The dinosaur is small, it fits in one hand, and the man is even smaller.
