This massive toy (almost 30&quot;) can swoop up other toy dinos with its huge jaws the opens wide and shuts. Even without carrying any extras inside its jaws the toy is quite hefty. The packaging boast the toy is made of &quot;1 pound of ocean bound plastic.&quot; If the little one wants a break from lifting this massive beast, they can pull up the chip that is inserted on the back. The QR code on the chip can be scanned and continue the fun on the Jurassic World app. Not a dino fan? Not a problem. This toy can also serve as the main villain in the attack of the mean looking whale. He also loved the size of the toy. As a parent I love how well made and durable it was. This particular dinosaur is very different than any other dinosaur toy he has. I was trying to find one that would endure the bath because.. well.. it&rsquo;s a water dinosaur! Of course my son wants to put it in the bath to play! It&rsquo;s a good size at about 30&rdquo; and assembly is super easy. It doesn&rsquo;t say it&rsquo;s for water but it&rsquo;s plastic and we let it air dry outside. It has a little tracking code on a panel that pops out and it might wear out in the water but we don&rsquo;t mind that. Something to keep in mind if you are looking to use the feature. My son just likes making him jump out of the water to eat a dinosaur. This toy came unassembled, but it was very simple to put together. Simply push the legs/arms/fins into the correct spaces. The spaces were marked with a number, and the matching legs/arms/fins had the same number. That way it went into the correct spot. Once all placed together, it was as big as my kiddo! With it&rsquo;s large size, storage isn&rsquo;t easy. This toy is always out and ready to be played with! The legs/arms/fins can be out like it&rsquo;s swimming or down like it&rsquo;s walking. Obviously, we&rsquo;ve never seen a mosasaurus in person, but from what I know, this one does look very realistic. The toy is heavy duty and will withstand a lot of play. The jaws that open and close are fascinating to him. The color is exactly what he has seen in his dinosaur encyclopedia. Definitely the size of this creature is impressive. The sturdiness is what I am most impressed with because the toy takes a beating and nothing has snapped or popped off. I do wish they locked into place vs the current setup. Very easy to unpackage, everything was labeled clearly to assemble, you do need a little bit of elbow grease to get the joints to snap together. The fins all move around , it has very lifelike coloring. The fins are a little tricky to get locked in but have stayed well since clicking in fully.
