So we bought this contraption knowing that it would take up space but our baby would enjoy it so much that it'd be worth it. Once assembled, the stand is the size of a tank. It's got a very wide footprint, and the stand holds together with butterfly nuts -- not exactly easy to collapse and fold up! So it's monstrously large and hard to put away. (I find more baby stuff these days is better designed to securely snap open and collapse -- it's a design issue.) I'm basically waiting for my kid to outgrow it so I can sell it since there's nowhere to put it where it doesn't take up the whole room.
