At times the chair smelled bad and for a second I thought it was a diaper blow out that caused it to smell but I took it apart and I was so disgusted, there was mold growing inside the white piece that is close to baby’s tummy when placed in chair. Also food falls through an opening where the buckle meets the strap under the chair and there is no way to clean it out unless you take 10 screws off. I would give this chair an negative 10 if I could. Please please do not purchase for you little one!! I’ve had the chair for a year and a half.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The chair itself is serving its purpose for us, as we have just started introducing solids. We just washed it for the first time last night and it came out of the washing machine with a giant tear down the back and stuffing coming out. We specifically bought this one because it is advertised as machine washable. We have had no issues with other items in our washing machine so I am not sure why this tore in a small load on gentle cycle. Needless to say we are frustrated and disappointed.</span>

The big thing for me is the clothe material that it came with was ripped, tried bringing it in store but they advised me to contact manufacturer tried calling them direct and was on hold for 30 minutes before someone picked up and gave up.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a very nice high chair for the price! Very easy and lightweight to maneuver around! Comfortable seat for the baby, the only thing I wish it came with extra removable back support/padding for when the baby is just starting to sit on it.</span>

Thank you for the question! The seat restraint is adjustable using the straps to tighten and loosen. Always use restraints, and adjust to fit snugly.
