The Stegosaurus comes with a red knob on his back, when easily twisted, moves the tail back and forth. His companion, Dr Grant is poseable. This set is well made with realistic features (with the exception of the red knob) and I expect with survive my grandchildren. Plastic toys often break easy when he is playing and then he gets upset. This one no problems so far even with the little plastic guy. Its easy to play with no complicated instructions needed. The chain the dino is supposed to shake off doesn't attach well or easily to its legs. The knob you twist to shake off the chain is atrocious. It makes the dinosaur look like a police vehicle. It's even painted red instead of blending in. Even my four year old daughter loves to play with it. They crack up turning the little knob on the back to make the tail swing and knocking over other toys. It has had a lot of crossover play with other toy/movie characters lol! It&rsquo;s very well made considering my kids are kinda rough with it since it is a big scary dinosaur (vs dolls, cars, etc.). The tail still swings and all limbs are intact. The leg trap was a little tricky at first, but once he got the hang of it, my son enjoyed having his stego escape over and over!
