My LO has been super in to Batman lately, but not many of the toys are geared toward his age group - but many are just a little too old for him. This was perfect for the active imagination of a 6 year old! He enjoyed all of the features, noises, and how things opened up and shut. She was a little sad that the toy did not come with other characters. It would&rsquo;ve been nice to have more than just Batman. It has many features with lights and sounds to catch the interest of the kids. It has the Light-Up Power Chamber with Raise/Lower Platforms. You can load any BAT-TECH figures into the Power Chamber for the Light - Up actions by just activating it. It includes many accessories from the BAT-TECH figures of Batman to the launch arrows and even the 3 AA batteries. The Batman figure has removable Batwing and the arrows have different styles as well. We have an extensive Imaginext collection and we know that we can always count on good quality and lots of details in these products. This set was no different. My 5-year-old was excited to try this out and there are a couple of things he enjoyed from the start. First is the elevator with sound effects. This is something unique to this set that we hadn't yet seen. The next thing was the way the two platforms on top, connected by a giant Bat Symbol, rotate clockwise and counter-clockwise like a balance scale. This is a very cool feature that is not included in the other Batcaves from Imaginext. The set comes with a Batman figure, a couple of accessories like a claw and axe type weapon, a set of Bat wings, as well as two projectiles with a launcher. Batman even mounts the launcher for added realism. My 5 and 9 year old both have played with this set daily since it arrived, and overall we are very pleased with the quality, durability, and value of the product. There are so many things to do; it kept him entertained for hours. The lights and sounds engage when you turn batman in the computer control center pad. There is a removable shooter chair that comes with two red launchers and can be positioned on two different levels by placing it on the built in pegs. These pegs are cool too because you can also secure batman on them separately as he has built in holes in each of his feet. When the red launchers aren't in use there are two built in holes to store them in on one of the levels which is great since otherwise they may get lost. Also batman has two assesories that can snap in his hands but also can be stored in the holes around the pad on top of the light chamber when not using. The trap door can be engaged when you twist this top pad making the batman wing move up and down lifting and lowering the various levels attached. Lastly there is a removable yellow batman wing glider attachment that stands nicely in the notches to display and then easily snaps onto batman when he is ready to fly.
