My 7 year old son is autistic and has loved Hot Wheels since he was a toddler. We&rsquo;ve tried buying him racetracks before but he has more fun taking them apart and attempting to put them back together than actually racing the cars. This set was pretty easy for me to put together and not too difficult to put the pieces back on when they&rsquo;re taken off (don&rsquo;t even need the instructions to figure it out, lol). I like that it&rsquo;s tall rather than wide so it doesn&rsquo;t take up too much space in our small home. All three of my kids spent hours each day fighting over it for the first week we had it and still play with it a few times a day now a few weeks later. The only negative I&rsquo;ve found is that it is very loud when you pull the blue handle back to launch the cars around the loop. My toddler likes to pull it over and over and it can be annoying/startling. Otherwise, we&rsquo;ve had fun with this and I expect it to get played with for a while. It is big enough that multiple kids can play at the same time, and the working car elevator allows two kids to race their cars against each other and someone might have their car eaten by the hidden shark. When not actually racing there are many parking spots in which kids can park their collection of hot wheels. My boys have played with it for hours since we got it. There is plenty of space for cars to park in the blue towers and on level 4 of the garage. The elevator is automatic and goes up with the push of a button. It will go up to the top unless you have rotated one of the stoppers into place, in which case, it will stop on the floor that you chose. The lever that launches the cars through the loop is so easy to use, and the cars fly through the loop, that is, unless that are eaten by the shark. The gas station and mechanic's shop are nice additional details. The instructions were clear and not only were the parts labeled but it was also labeled where the track/part needed to be snapped into. There are so many features on this garage. Every day the kids find another way the cars can go down the track or be launched. They play with this for hours and get so excited when they are racing their cars. The car elevator can stop on three different levels, the cars can be diverted to different directions for access to fun features of the track. There is a place for the cars to jump the tracks and land into another area of the track, there is a service station with a gas station and the kids love it when the cars fly through the jaws of the shark. The garage has space to store so many Hot Wheels cars! When it arrived he enjoyed helping me put it together, and once it was assembled he brought a bunch of his cars over to play with the garage. The set does come with 2 cars, but the great thing is that it can park dozens more (and we have a ton!). My son loves picking out 2 cars to race and sends them up the lift to the top. From there they race down and around to the bottom and are ready for launch through the loop. My son loves pulling the lever to launch the cars and seeing which one wins. Every so often, after pulling the lever to launch the cars through the loop, the shark will pop up and send the cars through the shark instead. My son loves to see when the shark might &ldquo;eat&rdquo; the cars. He can also park the cars on several levels, bring them to the repair station or the gas station, and this set can also connect to different sets for an even larger play set. They are very into Hot Wheels and still spend hours playing with this. For me, I really like how there is enough space so there can be multiple kids playing with this at the same time. Alas, just recently one of the mechanisms to launch the cars through the loop had broken so I have to track down a replacement part.
