There are so many different things to do on this play set - trying to out race the dinosaur before getting eaten, fueling up, car washes and going up and down the elevator to different parking spots and levels. It does take about 45 minutes to set up - including placing stickers, but once you do that, you're good to go. The set comes with 2 cars, but we have used many different styles and they all run fine on the tracks. The only potential downside to this toy is the large footprint that it takes up. If you have the space for it, it is sure to be a huge hit!</span>

Putting it together wasn't an easy task but I also had a very excited 6 year old ready to play. There is one sheet of stickers for putting on some of the parts. My daughter would hand me each one as I told her the letter. There are picture directions but easy to understand. You will need space to put it together as there are parts that need to go in the front and the back. My daughter was so excited to see that it was 3 feet tall!
The fun:
Once it was together my daughter set up all her hotwheels in the parking spots. It also came with 2 new hotwheels for her collection! There is an elevator the cars can ride up, there is a switch on the elevator that let's the T-rex travel up with it ,as the cars race, to attempt to eat them. If a car gets eaten there is a flap in the back to get the cars out.
This will be endless fun for any child and can create a whole hotwheels town as it attaches to other set ups! You and your child(ren) will not be disappointed!</span>

Not only does our seven year old daughter have a blast with with this, but so do my husband and I. Even the manual was impressive. Putting it together was very simple, thanks to the instructions and well made pieces.
The track is so smooth, the Hot Wheels glide down them, picking up speed as they go. I love how you can add more cars to the race once the first two hit the switch and release the waiting cars.
The T-Rex is awesome because you never know when it will catch or "eat" a car in the race. I also like that it does not require batteries to work. The ultimate garage is amazing!</span>

The crank elevator can take 2 cars to the top where they can race down and either avoid the chomping dinosaur or make it to the finish line. Sometimes the cars hit the dinosaur and flew off, but the kids didn’t seem to mind and enjoyed the action. Besides parking the cars in the mini parking areas off the track there are also a few service station features at the bottom so there are more things to play with than just the elevator and dinosaur feature. The garage holds a ton of cars and the single parking spaces double as sort of a display for the cars which is neat instead of having them tucked away in a carrier. Great for kids who are into Matchbox and aren’t too rough on their toys!</span>

Don't get me wrong the thing is big but it's a does well as a self contained unit without a lot of other tracks all over the place. More could be added if desired of course but for now this is great all on its own. Assembly was relatively easy as well; basically just snapping pieces together but instructions were helpful. The only complaint I have is with the dinosaur because to open and close the latch in the bottom to get cars out is very hard to do even for adults to the point that my kid has taken to just leaving it constantly open instead. Luckily this doesn't effect how anything works really but it does look a bit silly. There's a couple other nitpicky details I could mention but nothing I think changes the overall "wicked fun" level that even my husband has deemed it.</span>

He has been wanting a garage for all his cars for awhile so he was so excited to get this garage. First of all, this is a HUGE toy so hopefully you have the space for it. Second, it was pretty easy to build...the instruction book is pretty detailed with each step and you only need a Phillips Screwdriver for the battery compartment and it took about 30 minutes to build. Third, the plastic is pretty durable. I have an 8 year old and a 6 year old that can be rough on toys and its held up pretty well(despite the many crashes!Lol). The biggest drawbacks are that the Lift is Very Loud especially when the gorilla slides down. The second drawback is that the bigger HotWheel cars tend to get stuck in the lift. The small regular cars seem to do just fine but as my son has a lot of specialty and a bit larger HotWheels alot of his cars don't fit very well in it. All in all it is a good toy but not for the hefty price tag. Hopefully they can fix those problems and make it a bit cheaper.</span>

<span itemprop="description">She’s a bit over 3yo and this is her first Hot Wheels toy. She calls it the crocodile. This will keep her entertained for a solid 30 minutes at a time. We’re not having the same t-rex problems that others are. Everything working as expected. Eats 1 out of every 4 or so cars. But this thing is soooo much bugger than I expected. It’s taller than her and now the centerpiece of her room. T-rex is loud going up and down or else it would get 5 stars. We’re all having fun playing with it.</span>
