It is enormous so make sure you have some room. It was super easy to our together. The multi-page instruction book was easy to follow with lots of illustrations and tabbed sections. And each piece snapped into place. My four-year-old daughters and I had a great time assembling it. But playing with it was so amazing. You can engage the dinosaur for an extra level of excitement and difficulty or just let him sit. The cars ride up in the elevator and then zoom around jumping over &lsquo;broken&rsquo; splits on the tracks. But watch out the dinosaur doesn&rsquo;t eat you!!! There are little buildings, gas station, car wash, etc at the base and places to hook on more tracks. It also has a bunch of extra parking spaces, which is convenient for storing extra cars. When he saw the dinosaur chomp down on one of the cars, he jumped with excitement! He also liked that it had two racing modes (one with the dinosaur and one without). He played with this toy nonstop for hours! I like that this toy is fun and functionalities because it can store so many cars, which is a huge plus for me. The interactive dinosaur is a really neat addition to the set. My son and his 7 year old brother enjoy racing cars against the dino to see who makes it to the bottom first and who gets eaten! The set allows them plenty of track space to play together and separately. The kids enjoy showing off their favorite cars in the garage which they then carefully select to race. From my perspective, I like how most of the set is vertical, so less floor space is taken up by the otherwise large garage playset. Also, sounds created by the dinosaur were very tolerable and not over the top annoying. This Hot wheels city ultimate garage is amazing. I could not believe the size of it and the quality of it. This Ultimate Garage is 16 x 29 x 35.4 inches and very sturdy. It can hold up to 100 cars in the storage, it is super fun with a Robo T-Rex in the middle of it. And it was easy to assemble, which is always a plus. It has so many tasks and they love to race each other and the dinosaur. They laugh every time the dinosaur eats their cars. It is great for storing the cars as well. It is well constructed (but I advise not to build with the children around as they are anxious to get playing). It is great that there are so many areas to be able to connect other sets to this set. It is much bigger than we expected but is the perfect height to play with. We have even taken it outside for all the neighbor kids to play with too and held up to many children playing with it at once. The only addition I would do is to have a ramp that you can connect when the dinosaur isn't activated in case they don't want the jumps. Also having the ability to connect the ramps in the middle where the dinosaur is to the back with a switch or something so mix it up on the way the cars can go. The only downsides I found were the dinosaur makes a louder grinding sound when it reaches the bottom and opening the box, as I didn't see the open here tabs due to the amazing graphics. However, this City Ultimate Garage was an huge exception. First , the packaging consist of this new wave of easy open technology that most toys have now. It&rsquo;s just a lift tab on a car board box, but for parents it&rsquo;s keeps up from having to spend 30 mins getting the pieces out of the box . The set up was just like any other Hot Wheels set up, easy with the instructions, yet complicated with having to add stickers to some pieces. Once assembled, the dinosaurs feature is amazing. My son spends hours racing cars down from the top of the garage as the dinosaur down trying to catch the cars in its mouth. You have the option of using the garage without the dinosaur. Although the dinosaur function is a bit nosey, it makes sense as it&rsquo;s suppose to imitate the sound of a dinosaur as is moves. The concept is amazing, it encourages imaginative play with the features at the bottom of the garage like the gas station and car wash, and it&rsquo;s 3 feet tall. Very easy to assemble and it kept my sons attention for 2hrs!! He loved watching the dinosaur come down and sending him back up. The only thing that was a little difficult for my 5yr old was turning the dinosaur on and off and opening and closing the dinosaur when it ate the cars. Mainly because of the dino, but also because it has multiple ways to play! Its billed as having storage for more than 100 cars, and technically it does, but its all open air. It comes packed tightly in the box - its never going back in again even if you take most of it apart, so don't bother saving the box. It took an hour to put together with decent instructions and has those stickers every parent loves! The kids are enamored of the dino and played with it while waiting. It takes a little bit to teach them how to operate the dino and elevator crank, but then they go to town for quite a while on it. There's an option to race multiple cars without letting the dino try to eat them on the way down, but only my husband and I have used it. The oldest kid loves arranging all the cars, the middle one co-opts the entire playset as a stand in for a demonic princess palace where they get eaten by the dino, and the youngest likes running the elevator. The elevator is self-launching on a certain setting - once it reaches the top, the two cars go down and the dino starts chasing them. The dino eats quite frequently with standard racing cars - other cars can be too slow. It is very tall but does not have a huge footprint - about 1 x 2 feet. I think it could come apart if you needed to pack it for a move, but its meant to be left together - I think the connectors would break if you took it apart more than a few times. It's not like our other Hot Wheels sets that break down and can be stored in a plastic storage tub.
