We like how the tracks are slightly elevated underneath so they can also be used on a rug surface. He does seem to enjoy having his cars whizzing down the winding track, but he keeps asking if there&rsquo;s more parts for him to play with. So far we&rsquo;ve built it together a million times and watched it effortlessly zoom down the tracks from the bed, the couch and the tv stand. I can&rsquo;t wait to get the rest of the track sets. My child even picked it up while put together and rotated it in his hands to make the car zoom around the track while he was holding it. Very impressed that it held up to that! My son gets frustrated when toys don&rsquo;t stay together properly or work as expected but I have no worries with this! Definitely high quality! You can use it on its own or add it to other tracks. The one thing that I would add to this track is to include one more connector to the track. The amount it came with was one short to connect it to other Hot Wheel items , so we ended up with an additional track with no connector. The only other negative to this track is that its so flat to the ground, if you don't have enough power to push the car through it will stop mid track. So it would need something to raise it higher in some places. Otherwise this track was fun my 5 year old son had a blast playing with it. He did add something under the track to make the cars move smoothly throughout the track. He loves building hot wheels tracks due to the simplicity of putting the pieces together and this track was no different! Such fun to add some curved tracks to our only straight piece collections! The quality of these tracks also seems top notch. Our beloved dog was excited about watching the cars go around the track and kept attacking playfully. The tracks never broke apart and never bent off shape. We received 2 shorter yellow track pieces, 2 longer orange straight, 4 of the curved red (which are also raised on the outer edge - SO COOL!) and 8 blue connector pieces. Overall - the possibilities are endless! We've built a race track circle, a road through the town (swirling around houses and rocks) and all while never getting frustrated from hard to put together pieces! The Hot Wheels Track Builder, Premium Curve Pack add on play set includes 8 sturdy plastic track pieces and connectors, as well as 1 die cast Hot Wheels car. The track is easy to put together and can be assembled in various configurations to produce curves and angles for your car to travel on. It is best added on to an existing hot wheels track builder play set although can offer more limited fun on its own.
