Attempted to put this together with my son who is 12 years old. Took us about 1/2 hour to put it together and it had only 5 pieces. My son was very frustrated by the end. Cute track set. My son played for a couple of hours straight. We attempted to try and fold up the track. Never figured it out. Directions/pictures are lousy. The track is sitting in a pile in the corner of the living room. This product is not mommy or kid friendly to put together but a fun set to play with for mommy and son if you can figure out how to put it together and then figure out how to fold it up and put it away after. Two stars only cuz it's a cute set but hard to put together and fold up.</span>

<span itemprop="description">When I was a kid, I had HotWheels. I set up ramps and tracks with books and anything lying around the house. Unfortunately, once I got some speed on my cars, seams were not my friends. The gaps between the books would either derail the cars, slow them down or just stop them in their tracks. What I would have given for something like this! Dude, seriously, a track that indicates winners and losers without having to argue and fight with your brothers about who got first. I swear my relationship with my younger brother hasn't been the same since that Christmas in 91'. We both got the coolest looking HotWheels and set up a monster track spanning the length of the stairs. After hours of racing, we decided, as young boys do, to put it all on the line for the final race. My best Redline Custom Mustang 1967 against his Porsche 917; winner take all! As the cars raced down the length of the books and cardboard boxes, my car seemed to have the edge, as it neared the bottom, the last piece of cardboard mysteriously shifted slightly to the right causing my beautiful Mustang to make a drastic turn for the worst. My brother's car won. Not seeing the hazard as an unfair turn of events, my brother quickly grabbed my car and ran into his bedroom. That day, my brother made a choice that snowballed into a life of crime and addiction. Now in prison, I have spoken with him across the glass, phone in hand, about the connection between his criminal behavior and that day racing on the stairs. His robbing me of victory based on unfair circumstances planted a seed of desire in him for the thrill of "the take". So, thank goodness for this track. If nothing else, I know it will help my children stay away from the evils of make-shift tracks and prison in addition, to providing countless hours of fun!</span>
