The shoes have a portion that slides out in the bottom so the shoes can be attached to the board. This feature my 5 year old appreciated as it made it easier for her to use. For a user who is more experienced they can slide the potion on the bottom back in and it can be used without being attached (like regular shoes on a skateboard). My daughter loved the color and design on the shoes and board. My daughter discovered she could put the shoes on her Ken doll and pretend he was skating. She was a little bummed the shoes were too big for Barbie. My daughter could easily put her fingers in the shoes and use them to skate with the skateboard. She liked to pop the board up, pretend to jump and spin. The board has good grip so the board doesn’t slide away and the wheels spin easily for use on different surfaces. We would recommend the Tony Hawk fingerboard for kids 5 and up who like skateboarding.</span>

When I gave him the Hotwheels Tony Hawk skateboard with the shoes. His eyes got soo BIG! He said Mom no way, of course he didn't have any ramps to do tricks as he didn't know these existed. I feel bad because I did, however I didn't think he would like let alone enjoy something like this. He took the cardboard box it came in, and made his own little ramps, he played for so long. Not even exaggerating but I would say a couple hours. He even got crayons out to color the ramps. Who would have thought a little skateboard with barbie sized shoes could keep a child happy & busy for hours.
Overall he is super stoked and now wants more on top of parks and ramps. Thanks hotwheels!! Definitely recommend to anyone who has a child, especially if they like skateboarding.</span>

The board itself is well-designed, with fun colors and a sturdy build that holds up to his rough play. He loves rolling it around, doing little jumps, and pretending he's a pro skater.
However, the included finger shoes are a bit of a letdown. They're too small for adult fingers, making it hard for me to show him tricks or play along. My son also isn’t a fan of the shoes—he prefers using just the board without them.
If your little one is into mini skateboards, this is still a fun toy, but don’t expect the finger shoes to be a hit. The board itself makes up for it, though, and keeps my son entertained!</span>

The skateboard has designs similar to what Tony has created over his career. The grip tape is tacky so it’s easy to maintain connection with the finger shoes. To me, the most creative aspect is how you can remove the mid-soles off the shoes and connect them to the board. Only thing I’d like to see would be maybe some interchangeable parts. But, at the price point this set of boards is very fun and affordable. I now have a new desk board that I can use when bored at the office.</span>

My son's first time to use/play this finger skateboard. The quality is great. The shoes were not slipping off my son's fingers and the skateboard looked very well crafted. The part where the fingers step on has a rough texture which helps prevent the shoes/fingers from slipping off. The only minor issue I have with this item is that it arrived with a little scratch on the rough part of the skateboars. It already had the scratch even before I removed it from the packaging.
I'm still giving it 5 stars because my son had fun playing with it and trying to finger skate was hard for him at first but he is now doing a lot of techniques! My son tried first on a table but it seems hard but if you do it outside on concrete, it was better.
This looks aesthetically nice as well. Would be a great gift idea for kids and adults alike!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old son enjoyed playing with the Hot Wheels Skate Fingerboard. It comes with 2 plastic shoes that fit onto your fingers and then connect onto the board. My son was able to put them on by himself and enjoyed skating the board around the house while trying jumps and tricks. The fingerboard is very sturdy in construction just like Hot Wheels cars are. The downside of the toy is that the shoes are easily lost. However the fingerboard can still be used without them.</span>

We got the blue and red one with the bird. It only took them a second to figure out how to attach the shoes to the skateboard. They showed me and taught me the names of all the skateboarding tricks they learned from camp. I like the colors and that it comes with shoes unlike the ones I remember when I was younger. It’s a great toy and easy to bring when going out to keep them entertained.</span>

This set comes with 1 board and a pair of mini shoes that can be worn on your fingers to do tricks- which makes it much easier for little ones to be able to enjoy than the original fingerboards which took quite a bit of practice to get the hang of doing tricks with! The shoes have slide off pieces on the soles that slide over the bottom of the skateboard and attach so mega ollies are endless! The bird graphic was cute and age appropriate. Perfect for younger ones since the skateboard pieces are not interchangeable like the original fingerboards and there are no small metal pieces to lose. Would make a great gift or stocking stuffer during the holidays! Definitely recommend!</span>
