Assembly wasn't difficult and took less than twenty minutes. The snake is pretty cool looking. The car starts at the snake's tail and can go out three ways- down a ramp around the back, around the whole snake and out its mouth or around the orange ramp in the center. The kids favorite part is the center ramp because it flips the pizza on top over onto the snakes head. On the bottom of the pizza is a snake with x eyes. They think it's pretty funny. This set connects with the other hotwheels sets using the base connector or track. Comes with a couple hot wheels cars so you can begin play as soon as you set up. Comes in the box as disassembled parts, but also with a colored instruction book with pics. Was pretty easy to set up, easy to understand, just had to follow the steps. Once we got set up, we had to learn how to play with it. Pushing the starting piece down, it will lock into the bottom part, place a car in, and push a button to activate. The parts move so the car actually has a couple different paths. My son is 6, and he enjoyed it. The set does seem to need to be handled a little more gently that others that we have, because of the moving parts on it. It will take normal play, but if your child is rough with it, you may need to snap some pieces back in place. Good idea for a hotwheels track, love the different possibilities. Great that it comes with cars for immediate play. It is rather labor intensive to put the toy together and attach all the stickers. I really wish the stickers came on the toy. My boys loved the cobra and how it &ldquo;chomps&rdquo; the car. To use the toy, you pull the tail down and lock it into place. Then you place a car in the tail, push the hotwheel button, and the car moves down the track. There are three possible ways it can go: straight into the cobra&rsquo;s mouth, along the whole track, or if the pizza lever is tripped - the car comes through the pizza shop. My kids enjoyed playing with it, though the tracks can come apart if they play too rough. The track is a good size, but doesn&rsquo;t take up a lot of room as most of the tracks which I appreciate as space and storage is always a concern. It is good quality. It takes some getting used to of how to reset the cobra but now my kids can do it independently. They have had fun finding out which cars go down the fastest and redirecting them. It is not the sturdiest but is on par with other hot wheels tracks. It has not come apart yet and my kids are not gentle with it. They had friends over and they all played with it for a good amount of time. Pros: 1: Fast paced action keeps kids engaged 2: Sticker pack was limited and not hard to place 3: assembly was pretty straight forward 4: kids loved watching the car take different escape routes and flying around the track 5: We love that this set connects to other sets in the &ldquo;City&rdquo; 6: pushing the button to release the car down the track is super fun Cons: 1. Car doesn&rsquo;t always release when the button is pushed 2. I&rsquo;m not sure I understand the relation between the pizza, snake and police car- Although it didn&rsquo;t matter to the kids 3. Would have enjoyed two cars with the set instead of just one.
