And the details are so cute! It's flexible, but sturdy so I'm not worried about it breaking. And it has a push point making the tracks easy to separate for storage. It was easy to put together. The only downside is you really have smack the &quot;launching mushrooms&quot; or the cars will fall off the track. Regular cars work, but we'll be collecting more, as it only comes with Mario. Love the extra details like the flags lowering with each race to show the winner and the spinning coins! Hot wheels is not a typical toy that piques her interest, but this was an instant hit with the Mario collaboration. The track was straightforward and quick to set up, no issues there and my daughter was able to figure out how to make Mario race right away. I love all of the details that reference the game, such as the gold coins and the Mario racer. Mario looks just like in the game! The track does not take up as much space as I had worried, which is great for an ever growing play room. It was fairly simple to put together if you followed the instructions. It also works surprisingly well. It looks like the cars will fly off the tracks, but as long as you place them properly they make it around one full lap. They will not do more than one lap at a time though. My boys enjoy racing each other and love that the track keeps track of who is leading. Also, it does require batteries. The only downside is that the track only comes with one car. My boys have been using this at least once a day since we got it. It is a cool looking track. Not to difficult to put together, took me about 15 minutes because I put a couple pieces on wrong the first time. You have to hit the launcher pretty hard for the car to make it through the track. We put it together and I&rsquo;d even gotten him 5 extra racers (Luigi, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Peach, and Warluigi) because I saw that it only came with Mario. We put on the stickers and had fun putting it together. However, when my son and his 8 year old brother started using it, one of the phalanges shot out from under the mushrooms after the 3rd lap! After close inspection, I found that part of it had snapped off. Can you imagine the disappointment on my son&rsquo;s face when I told him I couldn&rsquo;t fix it? I tried to contact customer support and was greeted with a site down for maintenance error! Just out the box you can tell its very enjoyable. It has two tracks so you can race against yourself of an opponent. A big plus was that the track is fairly easy to build and take apart. You also have to add all the detailed stickers yourself which he was able to do. It a nice size so unless you have the space you would have to break it down for storage. A big con is it only came with 1 car. The purpose of the track is to race so I didn't understand why it would only come with 1 car instead of 2. The track it self has a lap counter and when you get to the mushroom tunnels you can slap down the mushrooms to help zoom your car. Overall all the details and build are awesome and this track is just a fun toy that my son really enjoys. I think it says ages 3+ and in our house the + sure goes all the way up to adult! The only downsides- only comes with one car (hard to have a race... but some hot wheels work) and the having to slam your hand down on the mushroom for each lap (doesn't seem to bother younger ones, more older ones....instructions say to time your hit to keep it going, but as far as we can tell that's not actually possible, lol). Even with the downsides, the kids said 5 stars. The younger kids sit and play with it the longest, devising whole storylines to go along with the races. When it was set up, it took almost no explaining and the kids knew exactly what to do. The track is fun, it's pretty easy for the kids to hit the launcher and get the car to make the full lap. There are some cases where the car falls off the track, but that didn't impact the fun. The Mario car definitely does better than a random Hot Wheels car, and it took a few tries to find another car that worked well with this launcher. Overall, compatibility isn't an issue if you have a lot of cars around - you'll find at least a few that work well. The track does come loose sometimes after play, especially where the initial loops connect to the tower, but it's easy enough to snap the track back into place. Overall this isn't a major concern. Between the car compatibility and the track coming off the tower sometimes, I knocked off a star. Overall this is an awesome track and especially cool if you're a Mario fan. The Mario car is really great. I like this better than a lot of other Hot Wheels tracks.
