It is very bright and colorful. He really enjoys playing with it. It has held his attention for quite awhile. It seems very durable. I&rsquo;m sure it will be a favorite toy! They like that they can race the Mario characters just like in the video game. The glider part can come off so you can have different options when playing. The car is a good quality metal that will withstand a 4 year old&rsquo;s roughness. This is a solidly made little Mario Kart Hot Wheel. What you should know: *The glider can be detached, and will come flying off if you put the car under stress- think going down a kid slide at high speed. The good news is that it&rsquo;s built well enough that it can take a beating and the glider will still fit right back into the attachment slot! The car itself is fine but the glider fell off and we can&rsquo;t get it to go back on. My boys still play with the car without the glider so that is why I rated it 3 stars.
