My kids love the Jurassic Park/World movies and were very excited when they saw the box arrive. The three dinosaurs included are all exciting, but the star of the show is the Giganotosaurus. Anything involving the destruction of cars or bridges is a big hit, and this set combines both. Timing the Giganotosaurus attack is fun, especially since this set includes the motorized booster so there's no need to manually launch cars. Opened it and assembled (bit of work but not too bad), insert the batteries and off we went. The T-rex breaking the bridge was a little fun bit on the track on top of the loop and the turns. Cars went at a good speed and was amusing for a while to see them race on the track. Son was interested for a little while, but seemed to move on after about 20-30 minutes. He did play with it again after the next few days, but never touched it again after about the 3rd time. It was a good size including sufficient loops and turns. The instructions were very clear and approximately 10 to 15 minutes to put together. Including the T Rex was almost a added bonus giving it&rsquo;s a pretty big dinosaur. My only complaint&rsquo;s are that it requires D size batteries which are not as common in our household so we had we put the play on hold. Also some of the pieces of the track had trouble staying connected and the tree stands weren&rsquo;t as sturdy. Only concern is the car was in a plastic guard which a bit difficult to remove from the box. This resulted in damage to the box. If a person wants to keep the box for storage, they should be careful removing the vehicle. Also range on the box seems like a good location but I had difficulty locating it. The logic of putting it next to the car makes sense. I will attribute this to reviewer error. Assembly: Instructions were very good. The parts were easy to identify, and I was able to lay them out just as they were in the instructions. The stickers were durable and easy to peel. Total assembly time was about 24 minutes with careful reading of instructions. Toy Design: The track design allows the cars to stay on the track after multiple launches without assistance. This allows the child to start the car moving and then add additional cars in sequence. The launcher device was powerful. I placed my hand in front of the car to see if it would cause any pain. No pain observed. My son placed his hand in front and did not indicate any pain or injury from the speed of the car. We used both the metal type and plastic with no concern. The cars would only flip over on occasion. Our child is 4 years 7 months old he was able to understand how to start the toy after only showing him one time. He played with it for about 40 minutes before being distracted. The major down part to this toy is the T-rex is not as mobile as we would like. When lifting the tail, the rest of the track moves, and it interrupts play. Would be nice if the T-rex would rotate out of the way of the track upon catching the car. The size of the toy is cool, but storage may be a bit of pain. The tracks are flimsy which is a positive and negative. Positive because it helps with durability. Negative when trying to move for storage. I would highly recommend this for any toddler - girl or boy. It entertains them. As far as durability the track is supported. My only criticism is that once you turn it on, it is a little loud. Maybe quiet that down. It does become annoying after awhile. I would also recommend adding an extra car to the set since we did have the mishap where my grandson lost the car and then we had to find it since that is the only car that will work on the track. You get two dinosaurs in the set, one little and one big, for the cars to race past. Kiddos get to move the big one, the Giganotosaurus, and try to eat the cars as they pass by. It does take some timing and motor skills, my little struggled at first but got the hang of it pretty quick. Assembly isn't too bad of a process, as the set isn't very big. Part of the set is elevated, which allows for cool configurations with other sets, but makes it a little wobbly with the force of the launcher. This leads to some cars falling off the track occasionally, but nothing too bad to bother my kiddo. My kids can be a little rough with toys but the play set was durable enough to withstand their play style. They loved the loop, but could not get enough of the dinosaur feature. They enjoy catching the cars in the dinosaur&rsquo;s mouth. We did find that putting too many cars on the track at the same time was not a great idea, two cars seemed to work great. We also figured out that it works best when used on the floor. Set up is fairly easy and the track is a good size. The part I like the most and what my kids enjoyed was the interactive feature to move the dinosaur and that the car fit perfectly in his mouth, it was really fun for them trying to eat each other&rsquo;s cars. The things I didn&rsquo;t like is that the placement of the dinosaur has the cars falling towards the propeller so I had to monitor my kids to make sure they didn&rsquo;t put their fingers near the rotating piece. I also really wish hot wheels would include the batteries for these types of toys. My son (Age 3) was in absolute shock, as he's a major fan of dinos &amp; cars. The course itself works great, 1:64 vehicles zoom from the motorized start point but lose speed near the dinosaur. The T-rex's mechanics are really cool and both my son and daughter get a kick out of it. The only true downside to this product is its durability within the 3-5 age bracket. One of the base legs (green tree) is bent inward and causes the track to collapse often, and the end of the track disconnects from the starting gate a ton.
