They all move fast and there are no hang ups in movements. All their colors are beautiful and stand out. The colors change fairly quickly especially after you put it under warm water. The colors they change into are awesome as well. The design of each vehicle is meticulously done, and each one stands out on their own. My son loves these cars, I constantly find him playing with them. The Hot Wheels Color Shifters Vehicle 5-Pack was given to my 7 year old. He was thrilled to receive more Hot Wheels since he loves them. He was even more excited to learn that they changed color by using water. (He loves anything involving water play.) Right away, he opened the packaging, and he put them under water, but they didn't change. My husband had to help him, and eventually, the cars started to change colors a little. Once they were able to get them to change, my son started playing with the cars by himself. I think he got bored of how slow they did change. He was expecting something instant. After about 10 minutes, he got bored with trying to make them change colors. I will say, as with all Hot Wheels cars, these were made very sturdy and durable for extreme play so there's that. They are built to take the rough and tumble of kids who don't play easy with their toys (like my kid). However, this would be better off as just regular Hot Wheels cars because it takes too long for the colors to change, and it's not easy for a child to figure out how to get them to change. They requested two bins so we set out two water temps bins for them to shoot from cold to hot and see the color changes. They&rsquo;re also fun on their own when you aren&rsquo;t using water. The cars seem solid and durable. Each car has a fun name. Packaging was odd. They work really well from our experience. The only downside is that sometimes depending on the air temperature or the temperature of the kids' hands, the color change will revert back on its own very quickly. This is frustrating for my 4 and 5 year old. These were great when i received them. Since they change colors i thought they would be great to see how they change with a warmer temperature, i.e. a bathtub. Imagine my surprise when i put them in the tub and nothing changed. Then i realized i should try cold so i put them in the freezer. Thats when the blue changed to purple and all the rest changed too. The packaging is a bit deceptive with the temp gauge being a water thermostat almost and absolutely zero directions to change the colors. My son loves everything about them and constantly plays with them all. Only thing that should be added is direction/better clarity for optimum color change. Other than that i wouldn't change anything else. I love the designs and this is definitely something hotwheels needs to expand on as it is an AMAZING concept. Keep it up HotWheels and keep em coming!
