Hot Wheels Mario Circuit Track Set comes with 2 cart characters, various track &amp; curve pieces and easy to follow instructions. You will recognize familiar charachters on the base pieces &amp; stickers like a Goomba and the Toads. The track pieces are compatible with other Hot Wheels tracks and other Mariokart expansion track sets. It requires 4 D batteries that are not included. I did have a little trouble connecting the higher curve pieces to the base. But, a couple of deep breathes and laying on the floor to get a better view of the connection site worked to get it connected. My 7 year old twin boys were excited that our set included Mario &amp; Yoshi as the 2 carts. They thought the &quot;booster&quot; section of the track was really cool &amp; that's what propels the carts through the higher curve sections and makes it go fast. They also tested some of their other hot wheels cars on the track but not all of them fit on the track and the &quot;booster&quot; area may strip the paint off regular hot wheels cars. It is easy to assemble. I was surprised how long it is. It comes with two racing cars, one is Mario and the other is Yoshi. You need 4 D batteries. I don&rsquo;t like that the vibration makes the cars go off the track. There are two buttons, one to propel the cars and a smaller button that makes the opposite car drift off the track. Super fun. The flags to count the laps are lowered by themselves since there is so much vibration and knocks on the buttons that it is not surprising. All the elements and &quot;environment&quot; are fun and authentic. The way the flags bump down each lap to keep track of who is winning is a great idea, and it's also nice that that feature can be turned off so the cars run continually. The issue we had is that the Mario Kart character cars just don't stay on the tracks (we have all the character cars, and Toad is the only one consistently able to run laps). Even regular Hot Wheels cars can't stay on the track. We've assembled and reassembled several times, and on different floor surfaces, but we haven't been able to run a full race with two cars because they fly off the track and strange places. My kids were very frustrated with this, and we ended just turning the motors off and driving by hand. This track is such a fun idea, but my kids have pretty much stopped playing with it because it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. From the moment it was pulled out of the box it was a hit (especially since his cousin was here with him. It took about 30 minutes all together to put it together, including the stickers. The hardest part was figuring out how to connect the loops properly. It is on the louder side when the motor is turned on so it's a toy area only toy now. Plus it's about 3ft long. The cars do fly off the track all the time which has caused some upset since it's obviously a racing track. Putting it back together if taken apart is easy. We love Mario in this house, and we are all super excited that they make a hot wheels mario track! First things first, the quality and durability of this track are awesome. The track pieces do not break easily and my kids are hard on their toys! The set up is pretty easy too, and the instructions are really easy to follow. You will need quite a bit of room for this track set, because it is pretty big! You will also want it on a flat surface. Once you have it all set up, it's time to put the race cars on the track! We love these cars too. There is a Mario and Yoshi car! You put them at the starting line and press the buttons to launch them! These cars actually go pretty fast and it's really fun to watch. You can also mess with your opponent as well, because there is a green shell button that makes them fall into a pit! There are a lot of other parts of this track too. There are giant coins, toad house, a goomba and flags. It really does look like a mario kart course when it's all put together! The only thing about this track that is not fun is how loud it is, but it's not a big deal at all because of how fun it is! All in all, this hot wheels track is AMAZING and it's perfect for ANY mario fan!!! I highly recommend it! Putting it together was pretty quick and simple, it comes with Mario and Yoshi karts and my kids already want to add more characters. They had a lot of fun racing all their hot wheels around this track, they like hitting the mushroom and shell buttons, and watching the cars race through the track on their own. I really appreciate all the Mario Kart elements that were included like the gold coins. My seven year old boy absolutely loves Mario Kart and enjoys the Hot Wheels brand as well, so this was a total hit. The circuit track set has a few fun, little features to it and provides some great entertainment. I think it is easy to assemble and no operation issues. The track has some cool features such as a flag lap counter that lowers with every lap the cars complete and a pit stop option. The track has a few drawbacks - the motor needed to propel the cars upside down is very loud and you have to hit the launcher very hard in order to get the cars started. My two 6-year olds are not able to hit the launcher with enough force to get the cars started on the track, however they figured out that if they start the cars right before the motor that will get the cars going instead. It also seems that our pit stop buttons don&rsquo;t fully work so they skip that feature. Easy to put together, fun to play and easy to use. My son loves adding more cars to the track to see who will win. Cars do fly off the track sometimes and can be a bit loud. It's a race track. It's expected. You can also connect other tracks to it too. Seems to be a great toy for kids of all genders and ages. My younger niece also had a blast racing cars around the track. They usually lose interest after a few minutes but not with this track. She picked it out herself and even helped put it together. We did have a problem with the setup as one of the pieces does not seem to align correctly - so we are currently unable to use one track. She loves both characters of Mario and Yoshi that are included. She races the cars on one track and loves just watching who is going to win. Everyone who comes over has to pick a winner (who they think is going to win) and she will place both on the track to see. There is always a show of who wins and a celebration.
