I was a little Leary thinking it would be messy. It was not messy and it is very cool! He is obsessed with this toy! After he crushed the core and transformed his goo shifter. He was able to stretch that thing 3xs it's size! He loves the chomp attack feature of the sharks teeth! Also loves how it feels! It was larger than I thought it would be which was great. He loves sharks of all kinds so he really loves the features of the shark, the mouth/jaws actually move. It seems to be able to withstand the force of my child tugging and stretching it. The core is easy to crush and since it's gooey and stretchy both he will spend quite a bit of time squeezing and stretching it during play since it's stretches up to 20&quot; and making shark like motions with it. He loves squishing it and watching the goo almost squeeze out of the body. The goo transforms from a light bluish to a really intense blue when you crush the core. These toys withstand a lot of squeezing and pulling and haven't leaked for us. The shark's jaw moves. Overall, this is a toy that's good for those into Goo Jit Zus.
