Minimal packaging is nice as compared to other similar toys, helping reduce useless plastic waste. Kids love hatchimals as there is no assembly needed and you can get straight to play time. Characters are the right size that you can put them in a pocket or carry around the house but big enough you don't have to worry about loosing under the couch. We liked this toy as it has a sibling and an accessory giving a little more depth to play time compared to just having the one hatchimal.
