They loved watch the eggs hatch in water in the bathtub! My only con would be this set didn't come with a keepsake case or bag for all the little tiny pieces included. As I have 4 kids, it gets difficult keeping track of all the parts that come with some of these toys. I wasn&rsquo;t expecting anything and definitely not a toy for a little girl so this was so exciting and fun. I know nothing about hatchimals but my daughter has been asking for this toy for a while. It&rsquo;s very cute to watch the little egg hatch and the little character come out but it is smaller than I expected. It comes with a few accessories like a bottle and pacifier for the hatchimals. It&rsquo;s a cute toy that you can take on the go but I wish you could reuse the egg as it seems like a bit of a waste. For the price point it is not a super expensive toy although the size of the toy is small. My 6 year old daughter was thrilled to receive this and got right into it to see what adorable little hatchimals she got to add to her collection. They got the Hatchimals Alive Make a Splash Playset to try for free in exchange for their honest opinions. They had previously played with Hatchimals before but this toy had so many elements that they loved. They loved the water aspect that allowed the two hatchimals to hatch, change colour, etc. It came with lots of cute accessories so the girls had a blast playing with this toy, filling the bathtub with water and squealing in happiness to exclaim what surprises were revealed with the toys changed colours. My daughters love surprise toys that are interactive and that can keep their excitement for a while. They used their imagination to play with this toy for hours. Knowing how much they love the surprise factor, I would definitely buy this toy for them for as a gift for another little girl to enjoy.
