I was a little worried that it might be too young for him but he honestly has had a great time with it. We initially set it up to spray water to test it out first. The glove was slightly snug, and the fingers are on the long side as well, which might be something to think about if your kiddo is on the older/taller side. My son is on the smaller side so the glove still fit him. It took a little trial and error to get the web shooter in a comfortable position for him to use the sprayer but once we did he had no issues. He thoroughly enjoyed watering my mums and chasing his older sister around the house soaking her. All and all it is a fun toy. Easy for him to refill with water by himself. Instructions are well meaning, but do not make sense. During assembly, it states to put the web solution (silly string) into the other 2 pieces, however they do not actually fit together easily at all. Wasted most the web solution during assembly. The test lasted all of 10 seconds and had my son frustrated and upset there was not more. Also not easy to use for little hands. My son (8 years old, product is described as ages 5+) had a hard time using the bit that actually deploys the &quot;web&quot;. Would never, ever, recommend to any friends whatsoever. Does not function as described and extremely disappointing. Buy a can of silly string and you will have better results.
