Halo has the best velcro on their products that helps keep my child nice and snug in the swaddle. My child loves to move their arms and wake themselves up so the velcro being study and tight is very important. After a few washes already the velcro seems to hold up well. The bright neon pink with tan material is something different but the color is growing in me as I am used to more muted colors. Baby sleeps so well in them, and they have become part of the bedtime routine that lets her know that it's time for a good long sleep. The ideal temp swaddle seems to do what it says. It keeps her warmer than the plain cotton swaddle, and cooler than the fleece one. Great for springtime when we have those in-between temps and a warm house that cools off overnight. The issues are with the swaddle. The Velcro was initially super hard to undo, which meant my baby woke when we needed to reswaddle. That has gotten better with usage and washing. The other issue is that it tends to bunch around my baby&rsquo;s face. That can make my baby think he&rsquo;s hungry when he&rsquo;s not. Arranging the swaddle in more of a v-neck helps. All of that said, we will be buying another, so I would definitely recommend. The cotton swaddles have almost a ribbed flap which has more give, and my escape artist baby almost always manages to pull his hand out of that one. But this one stays on and helps a lot with minimizing the startle reflex. We are just now starting to transition her out of swaddling, as well, and it's nice we can still have the same routine of getting ready for sleep with the same sleep sack. Having the option to only have one arm out has been useful for us, too! The Velcro was so strong that it often took two hands pulling with a lot of force to open it up. Even my husband said it was challenging to get off. Often my little one was upset by this. Combined with the fact that we had to fiddle with the single zipper for middle of the night diaper changes, we no longer used this swaddle after about a week.
