Product should have removable pads for kids in the 20-40 lb range. Surprised to see the 4Ever DLX was refreshed recently. I ordered one in April 2025 and received a car seat manufactured in February 2025. Noticed a few new features: 2 inserts now that stack on each other and are very plush (20lbs and then 40 lbs), head insert is plusher, seatbelt convenience holsters were moved to the outside. I just recently blew my shoulder out using this seat. Literally standing on top of the seat with my daughter in it and couldn&rsquo;t get it tight enough. I bought them one at a time over the recent 5-6 years. All 4 of them are the Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Car Seat. I have used them rear facing, forward facing, with latch anchors and now with seat belts. There is a reason I have 4 of the same car seat. They do everything very well. Eventually I will use them as high back booster seats then no back booster seats. We initially began with a Nuna infant car seat which was super easy and quick to install. While this one isn&rsquo;t very difficult, there are definitely more steps to ensure it&rsquo;s nice and secure. That&rsquo;s our only gripe. Otherwise, it&rsquo;s roomy and fits well in our car. Other than that, I've always thought the 4-Ever was easy-to-use and easy to install as well as easy to get a tight installation. All 3 kids have enjoyed this car seat and find it comfortable (even when other convertible car seats, including Graco ones, were used by us in my husband's car). So when we had our second, we got the DLX model of the same seat since the pads on this model are much easier to remove and these seats have been amazing. They are comfortable for the kids and I loved the safety rating. We are in the high back seat mode now for my 4 and 6 year olds. One of them still uses the 5 point harness and the other uses the high back with the car&rsquo;s seatbelts. I love the versatility and that these seats will be the only seats I will need for them since they grow with them.
