My four year old daughter really enjoyed this room very much! She had just started getting into Gabbys Dollhouse and this toy really made her interest go up! She played for about an hour which is great because not only is this entertaining but it also gave her the opportunity to use her imagination and explore. This Gabby's Dollhouse Baby Box Craft-a-riffic Room is super cute! The little room has such bright vibrant colors that really make this set pop and we like all the accessories it comes with. Our favorite features are the working ferris wheel that you can spin and the little hamsters in the pink carton. The hamsters don't come out of the carton but they do go up and down; it feels like pushing little buttons (I think there are tiny springs under them). Once assembled the room is very sturdy. The box says for kids 3 and up but there are lots of small parts that could be a choking hazard so if your kids are at the stage where they are still putting a lot of stuff in their mouths then I wouldn't recommend this play set. For us the set was great and the only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because the plastic had some discoloration in a few spots that was there before we even opened the box. That shouldn't be the case with a brand new toy and it bothered me but the kids didn't mind or even notice it. It's based off of the Netflix original series 'Gabby's Dollhouse'. The toy requires minor assembly, but no tools or batteries are required. The directions contain photos that make it easy to understand and fit the pieces together. The toy comes with a cat figure, as well as an egg carton with several cute little figures that fit inside. Also comes with 2 furniture pieces that have toy surprises inside, one being a hat for the cat figurine. My daughter had a lot of fun opening up the surprise furniture and setting it all up. There also is a free app that links with the toy, where you can unlock even more fun. The toy is designed to be a room that connects to the larger Dollhouse piece (sold separately) but is also very fun to play with on its own. My daughter is a huge fan of Gabby's Dollhouse and could list the episodes of the show that the toy corresponds with, which was really cool. The toy also came with a merry go round accessory that the figures from the egg carton can go in, and it spins them around and they can go for a ride. This toy has already provided hours of fun for my kids, and will continue to be fun for them to play with as they watch the Netflix show often. It's a great size, easy to transport around the house. While the 'mystery' hamster is tiny the rest of the pieces are perfect for little hands. While there was a lot of smiles and laughter to be heard while playing with this toy, my daughter did have some features she didn't enjoy. Baby Box it very top heavy so it was difficult for her to stand the character up on it's own. There was also some disappointment that the small hamsters inside the egg carton didn't come out to ride the ferris wheel. My 4 year old son and 6 year old daughter were both eager to open up this toy. Opening the package was fairly simple without a lot of complicated packaging. We received a dollhouse room, I assisted snapping the floorboards and walls in, so some assistance is required. It is a very simple toy that lets kids imaginations do the work! It had beautiful details such as the rainbow walk through door, Cute egg carton and Ferris wheel. Both of the kids enjoyed playing with the toy. With more rooms (sold separately) you can build them together and they instantly picked up on that idea and wanted another room! Overall we would say it is kid and mom approved, the box says 3 and up, there are a couple of small pieces which you may have to monitor with younger, but it is fun for older ages aswell. My daughter just started watching Gabby's Dollhouse on Netflix, and she's completely obsessed! This is her first Gabby toy, and it's brought her so much joy. She plays with it everyday, and stores it on her dresser every night for safe keeping. We're actually looking into addition rooms, and looking at purchasing the actual dollhouse for her birthday.
