I like that you can actually turn this one on and off, not just wait until it turns off on its own. The thermometer has three ways to take your child’s temperature- oral, under arm and rectal. For rectal use, it folds up to make sure you cannot harm your little one. It folds out for oral and underarm use, making it longer. It also has a light at the other end which I love! The temperature is read in just a few seconds and displayed quickly. The case is great and should prevent anything accidentally turning your thermometer on and draining your battery. The top is a bit easy to open tho.</span>

In the middle of the night it did read relatively quickly and the display was not bright which was nice while I was still partially asleep and anything bright is blinding. At night my child is not as squirmy so the reading went quick. During the day it was hard to even keep him still for the short ten seconds.
I used this thermometer as an armpit read since he is 1.5 years old. I can't attest to the rectal or mouth reading but I did like the light on there so you can see where you would be going in the dark. It even collapses down to a nice size when not needing to use it for an armpit read.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is yet another amazing product frida baby has launched. You can tell I’m a huge fan because from day one, I’ve been using all things Frida baby and they’ve never disappointed.
This thermometer was reinvented to be the cutest baby thermometer I have seen! As you know the skin sensor technology on most of the non contact thermometers is close to worthless as they’re so inaccurate. My little ones temperatures vary so significantly that I may very well never use them and come up with three random numbers.
R3ctal temperature is the most accurate by far and while it’s not the most pleasant Frida baby tried their best to make it innovative enough to use. Here are a few reasons why I loved this thermometer:
1) super compact & adorable: there’s no denying that I love the compact design of this foldable thermometer! Unlike the long sticks of the old days this folds the top half and is able to be stored in a cute white case.
2) the tip is bendable & is silicone: I absolutely despise using plastic in everything especially things that have to touch my babies. Silicon is the best plastic alternative when wood is not the most suitable alternative to use. Which in this case, it certainly isn’t.
3) the numbers are far more accurate: just insert a bit of lube (I use organic argan oil) to make it comfortable for the babies) and use it rectally when it’s critical to get the right temp. the numbers don’t waiver from one second to the next.
Now let me advice you to follow a simple protocol when getting this temp. Always lube the tip though it’s small enough not be causing a resistance. And always put a diaper underneath because it does stimulate the a3nal glands which may cause fluids to excrete. Hold a cloth in one hand while you use the other to guide the thermometer.
When your babies under grow this stage you can sanitize the thermometer and use it as an underarm thermometer, which is again a more accurate reading than the non contact ones. A truly timeless product redesigned with mom and baby in mind! (Purposeful Typos to allow review to post)</span>

My son had an ear infection and he does not like me to use our ear thermometer. This thermometer can be used three different ways which include rectal, oral and under the armpit. It reads the temperature quickly and then flashes the temperature a second time. This is great for young kids do do not want to sit still for very long. The tip is soft and flexible so it does not bother baby when using it. There is a stopper to prevent you from sticking the thermometer in too far rectally which can be nerve wracking to new parents. The screen also glows which helps to read the temperature even in dim lighting like in the middle of night. I love the case that comes with it because it is durable and it will be great for travel. The thermometer seems to be great quality too so it will last many years with my children as they grow older.</span>

I love the carry case. The thermometer is foldable and has three choice where to use it at, by the mouth,armpit or rectal. I can see the temperature at night with the LED light. It's easy to use. Good quality and water resistant. It's a must have for mom like me.</span>

The package was very easy to take out of the box,I love the design and it was easy to take out and for it to be quick to use! I like that you can push the knob and it pops up,it also has a led light that you push in the middle and it's rubbery and flimsy at the end great for rectal temps.The Only two things I disliked was that you had no pull over bags that go over it for rectal temps or oral that wasn't included or it was hard to change it to what you needed the temp for. But another great thing I loved was it had a carrying case so you can put in your purse,great for us on the go mother's!!</span>

From head scans, ear thermometers, and just plain cheap ones and they have been low battery soon as I open the package or won't properly read Temps such as only showing my child has a 93 degree temp which obviously is a big NO. This thermometer though reads quickly, folds and fits into this nice little container for clean storage. I am very happy with this product.</span>

And also has its own caring case so you can safely store it anywhere I also really like that the thermometer it's self folds down for a more compact design also cute but simple packaging is always a plus as I'm sure alot of people like myself are suckers for packaging. Would make a great gift for baby showers/mom's to be.</span>
