Worst thermometer ever
Completely dissatisfied in this product. I’ve been treating my son for a fever for two days and I couldn’t get my 8 month old sons out of the hundreds. The highest it read was 101.1, but wouldn’t go below 100.3… with that being said I treated with ibuprofen and that seemed to lower the temp until it wore off and I got the same 101.1 reading again. I googled it and found multiple negative reviews stating the product has inaccurate temperatures so I truly don’t know if my son had a fever or not.
This product needs to be recalled and taken off the market. Innocent kids are being taken to the hospital which is what I was about to do if my son went another day with a fever….

Was gifted this thermometer for our first child. Readings were consistently 1 to 1.5 degrees higher than other thermometers. These readings led us to take our 6 week old baby to the ER only to have a completely normal temperature. This product caused myself and our new family unnecessary stress and risked exposing our baby to dangerous pathogens while at the ER. I bought this because I loved the versatility and thought it would be perfect. For over a month it’s been saying my daughter had a fever on and off but when we’d go to the pediatrician she couldn’t figure out why and she didn’t have a fever there. Turns out, she had no fever. The thermometer has been consistently inaccurate. We took her temp with multiple thermometers and then with this one and all others except this were normal. I love Frida’s rectal only thermometer but this one is TERRIBLE and should be recalled for inaccuracy. Go to other sites and find some of the reviews and you’ll see so many others experienced the same.

DO NOT BUY
I usually love everything fridababy but for all moms out there DO NOT buy this thermometer. I’ve been thinking hadlee has had a fever for days now. Even brought her to the doctor at which they took her temp and it was normal. After reading mom blogs about this product they revealed how inaccurate this thermometer is. I finally took our normal thermometer out and tried it and compared it to fridababy’s reading. Every single time fridababy read as a fever. Normal thermometer read a normal temp. And yes I did it rectally for the best accuracy.
This product needs to be taken off the market. It could have saved us from going to the ER on Halloween thinking she had a fever only to get there and their thermometer read a normal temp. As a new mom worried about her health I let them do bloodwork and other tests which all came back normal. And to think this all could have been avoided and who knows, maybe she got RSV from that ER visit. I’m one angry mom and wish I could sue this company because it has not only happened to me but other moms as well.
End rant.

INACCURATE READING LED TO UNNECESSARY ER VISIT
I brought our six-week old baby to the ER per his Pediatrician’s instructions after getting a 100.5 reading (coupled with diarrhea). They got a normal temperature with their thermometer but insisted I stay and get checked by the doctor anyway due to his age and since I got a high reading at home. The visit was 8.5 hours and consisted of so many tests on him (urinalysis with a catheter, blood draws with IV and deep nasal swabs). When we tested him the next day after he felt a little warm, there was a reading of 100.8 which didn’t seem right. I compared with the thermometer they used at the ER and sent me home with after our visit, and it was only 99.0! I am heartbroken that I put both my baby and me through such a traumatic experience - not to mention the bills that are coming our way…
After realizing this, I went online to read reviews - which I regrettably didn’t do before adding this to my registry - and so many other parents have experienced this

False readings leading to ER/hospitalization
This may be a novel, but I want others to be aware. I thought this thermometer was great initially. However, following various degrees of fever readings for 4 weeks, and the pediatrician unable to find a source, we were sent to the ER. Although the ER thermometer did not show a fever, they trusted our history and did an extensive workup. This led my 11 month old being restrained to be cathed to get urine, restrained to place an IV and draw many viles of blood, vital checks every 4 hours. After all initial tests were normal, they decided to admit him to be seen by infectious disease. After many more checks and restraining, I realize the hospital has yet to get a fever read on their multiple thermometers. I got the Frida 3in1 and check him. It was reading a fever. And theirs right after was a normal 98.5. We checked again with the Frida 3-in-1 and got another fever, completely different than the first. We were immediately discharged for false fevers, with a baby traumatized by all of the restraining and testing. It hurts my heart knowing I trusted the thermometer and subjected my son to that.

excellent thermometer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a squeamish child like mine than you know how important it is to get a quick reading! This became my go to thermometer after the first use. Before using it for the first time, i was already impressed with flexible tip and the large base for an easy grip which you NEED when your baby is squirming. The screen is large and the light is so bright. My favorite part is the stopper that prevents going too far, it's sooo reassuring for me, as a parent, to know that i'm not hurting my baby whenever i have to use this on her. In all honesty, i wish i never had to use this on her. I hate making my baby uncomfortable but this eases my mind knowing i'm using a product that is making the process easier and safer for her.

Wonderful product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! This 3-in-1 thermometer by Frida baby is AMAZING! I've never seen anything like it! The entire product was made by a genius because it folds up for easy storage, has a LIGHT so you can see what you're doing at nighttime and has had an accurate reading of my babies temperature. I love that it includes a storage box to hold the thermometer when its not in use. This is a must-have for new mama's! I highly recommend this product and will be telling all of my friends about it! A registry must!!!!

Great features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! How could a thermometer get any better. This thermometer is mouth, armpit, and rectal use. When you need an accurate temp reading (especially now) rectal is a must. The thermometer folds into a different position just for that reason. It also has a quick 30 second read and continues reading even once removed.

Always great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridababy always does a great job with their products. I have used this 3 in 1 thermometer probably a hundred times this last week. My youngest has been extremely ill and my touchless thermometer kept giving me different readings but my fridababy thermometer gave me an accurate and quick reading over and over. I love that it has a case with it and is compact.
