Its circular hallowed shape allows for the balls to rattle around inside delighting baby with the sound. In addition to that, the axolotl in the middle doubles as a fidget spinner to keep baby entertained. And the vibrant color of the axolotl is what baby would notice first and draws baby in. The color vibrant but still flows with the color scheme/aesthetic of the toy. The back of the toy has has different textures to stimulate baby&rsquo;s senses. When this rattle is placed near her she will follow the sound the bead make when loghtly moved back and forth. She enjoys the colors and will look at the rattle when propped up beside her head. My son loved the spinning and noise from the rattle. His favorite aspect was the rattle as it was the easiest to use and access. Secondarily, Teh spinning aspect was great with the &quot;ears&quot; for sensory feeling and grabbing. The Ring that contained the spinning Axolotl was a bit small though even for tiny fingers to access and continuously spin.
