No matter how many times you press either buttons the thing just doesn&rsquo;t turn on. Now on month 8 with it and absolutely LOVE it! My baby loves watching the little animals play peekaboo with him and falls asleep watching it every nap and bedtime. Love the projector feature too. My son regularly turns the music on with his head, feet and hands lol. I Love that there is a child button so that even though he is tiny his little movements can turn the unit on! I was able to get about 2 and a half months out of it. The screen with the moving animals stopped working completely and would start to just skip the first 3 seconds of noise choice if you tried using the moving animals. Then the projection stars started flickering. It then either wouldn't time out the sound and keep playing and playing all night or it would quit halfway through. At first I thought, oh I wonder if the batteries are done. Took them out and checked their voltage and all of them still have almost full voltage.
