The plastic rings are softer plastic than they used to be made with but still hold shape great for use. The stand is great that it comes apart for easier cleaning! Absolutely love that everything is so easy to clean and you can get every crack and crevice. The rocking base is a great way to test hand eye coordination as a parent I made it move a little bit to make it harder for my son to put them on by rocking it. He loves it and hasn't stopped playing with it since it came in the mail, he is 2! Best part is it is a plant based toy.</span>
