Says 3-7 but should 2-5. My Son is an average 5 almost 6 year old and he may only get a few weeks of play bc he&rsquo;s already growing out of it. It&rsquo;s it fairly easy to put together but takes about 2 hours in total to put together. Overall my son loves it aside from the steering wheel popping off every now and then while he&rsquo;s riding he still enjoys it. I would say a good buy but not worth the retail price. If you can catch it on sale it would a great purchase and your kid will love it. The best part are the sounds the ride on makes. The wheels are plastic so they might not last more a year depending on how often your kid rides. But overall my son loves it. They can play with this all afternoon. My only complaint is that absolutely nothing is assembled out of the box. You get a chassis and all the other parts are separate, and that&rsquo;s it. Not even the stickers have been applied, and for the cost of this item, I would expect the product to be in a much more completed state. It took 2 people and a couple hours to assemble this so give yourself plenty of time and space to get the job done. It has a name brand and quality that you expect in a Mattel product. The stickers can be a bit harder to place on than expected so this was a little frustrating. Can take time to put together so make sure you set a decent amount of time aside for this. Also the battery does take 18 hours to charge in order to get the best quality you are looking for. So if you are surprising a little one with this this make sure you set aside plenty of time to put together in order to get it ready for use. Both his dad and I have jacked up wranglers, so that's the only reason we chose this over the others. It seems to have the same performance power as our other power wheels, it's a GMC scale. The tires are plastic of course, I wish they would give a rubber option. I thought it was the right decision based on all the great reviews but it is tiny and weak. I don't know how two children are supposed to be comfortable together in this thing. My son is not husky or tall for his age by any means and it looks like he's already outgrown it. Our grass isn't tall but it gets stuck frequently. We like the look of the jeep but it's performance is disappointing even with a fully charged battery. Save yourself the heartache and purchase something bigger.
