Unfortunately we didn’t like that you have to use water with ice to see the colors change in the octopus, turtle and mermaid tail. Definitely can’t do this during bath time. Wish you could see the “magic color change” during bath time. But still fun.</span>

She thinks the little turtle and octopus are so cute and she enjoys placing the little bits of ‘jewelry’ in the mermaids hair, on the bracelet, or in the seashell. The color changing feature is also fun to play with; however, when it says to use cold water, you do have to make sure this water is very cold. I would recommend a bowl with ice in it because as soon as the water comes to room temperature it no longer works. This is the only reason why I am giving the product 4 stars. My daughter loves playing with this toy in the bath so it would make more sense if the mermaid tale, octopus, and turtle would change in warm water instead of cold. Furthermore, the changes could be more drastic, particularly the octopus who only changes on the underside of the toy. Overall, I highly recommend this toy to any mermaid fan out there even if you haven’t seen the tv show.</span>

She loves playing with the mermaid and her accessories in the tub. The doll is a solid and 12" inches long and the doll is a little top heavy which means she doesn't stay sitting up when placed in sitting position. The doll comes with a bracelet your child can wear, turtle and octopus figures, plus hair accessories and a shell to store them in. The only real negative is that since this is a mermaid and a water toy kids will definitely submerge it in water and it does not drain easily from the doll's head so it stays in there and sometimes leaks out. Overall a really fun toy for water play plus as a play along with the tv show!</span>
