They have both traveled on planes several times and love pretending to go on trips. The Travel Together Airplane was a great addition to their toy box. My nephew loves the tunes, especially the tropical song. My niece loves the little people and always makes sure the pilot is in the correct spot on the plane. It comes with a pilot and a passenger. The plane has buttons that make noises. It has little people so they are made for tiny hands. The plane was well build and everything was assembled straight out of the box. It also came with what looked like a briefcase or a tiny suitcase. It was flat and didn't open though. My son was happy to get to play with the plane and people, although it is made for younger children. He was excited about the interactive jets, lights and the new audio. The button on top was a nice change so he can use that while flying the plane. It is also nice that it comes with two people but other Little People characters can be interchanged as well. We already have the helicopter so he likes to race the two. When she saw the toy, she was excited to play with it. She enjoyed putting the Little People in the seats and pressing the buttons. Her favorite part by far was the music as she danced when the songs came on. She did run around with it for a little while pretending it was flying. I thought the music was cute and the airplane sounds/announcements were fairly realistic to traveling on an airplane. The two areas for improvement for this toy are (1) it did not hold my child's interest for very long and (2) the packaging was a bit cumbersome. She only played with it for 5-10 minutes the first time and then only picked it back up a couple more times in the week or so we have had it (but your miles may vary). The way the item was packaged, it required scissors and a small amount of assembly. I would prefer to see this packaged in a box fully assembled without the need for scissors to get it out of the box. Please buckle up&quot; and &quot;Thank you for flying Little People Airlines.&quot; It has wheels on the bottom and the pilot's door opens as well. When you push the red button on top the passenger speaks and sings, too. In my opinion, this toy is adorable and seems like it would be a lot of fun. Not only does it play musical tunes, but it simulate real airplane sounds. So, it would be fun for younger children and older children who spend more time engaging in pretend play as well. However, it did not hold my children's attention for very long. It is listed for ages 1-5 but I would recommend it mostly for children in the younger end of the age range as my younger child played with it the most. If a door can come off it will when my girls play with toys and I have to say I am very impressed with the Little People line of products. The doors stayed on the wings are very sturdy and my girls played with this toy as their toy of choice for several days. The only thing I would omit is the little suit case. They didn't care for it and it was tossed aside and never played with even after I showed them how to use it. Unfortunately there is only a power switch and no volume control. It is fine when directly on carpet as it gets muffled. There is room for one more passenger on the plane. When you put the pilot in the cockpit and push him down, he talks to the passengers! There is a button on top of the plane that when pushed makes plane noises and plays songs. The plane is easy to push and carry. My toddler and 7 year old actually had to take turns playing with it! My toddler absolutely loves it and plays with it constantly! The pilot seat is a button that ques songs and quick little quotes from the pilot and passengers. There is a big red button on the top that makes airplane takeoff/landing sounds and a few songs. The plane has a for that opens for the little people to get in through, the only feature a little weird for a toy year old to use as they are not coordinated enough. It comes with two little people, a pilot and a passenger, and a suitcase. There are three seats and a little spot for the suitcase. There is a place on the bottom of the plane to add a string to turn it into a pull toy (not included). We recently came back from a trip and jumped right in by recreating our flight. He loved the noises and music it made. Laughing when the plane offered snacks to the passengers. &quot;Just like when we flew,&quot; he shouts. He played with that airplane for over an hour! It is very durable. Our house has a lot of tile and took a few &quot;crash landings&quot;. Still working great! I did dock one star because my son did say it seemed a little baby-ish in color and design. It also had some spinners on the wings that looked like something a baby or toddler would play with. I know they do this to work with a wide age range, but my 4 year old (5 pretty soon) wants to play with &quot;big boy&quot; toys. Overall- he's enjoying it! I hear the songs going off as I'm doing dishes and I know he's preparing for takeoff! They both love this plane and the music. So far it has provided hours of fun. The durability is great. We have tile floors and it has been dropped, thrown, and sent flying through the house and it still works and no broken pieces.
