We soon will hide it though because the two students included are both white which shows very little sensitivity or awareness of the history of segregated bussing in the US. Additional pieces should not have to be purchased in order for children of color to see themselves represented in the toys they play with, especially the ones that claim to get little ones excited for school.</span>

I bought it to go with the rest of our little people collection and it's definitely a great addition. It's sturdy and well built and can hold up to any toddler, even if they decide to toss them across the room lol.
The songs and phrases are catchy and fun and my kiddo loves to dance along to the music.
It's easy to operate and frustration free. My son has an easy time pushing the stop sign and opening the doors and playing the little people in different places on the bus and rolling it along the floor.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Toddler loves to roll the bus around and make the door and stop sign move, but hates the inane phrases that the bus says. Wish there was just an option to have the music only as he loves to dance to that, but it frustrates him as to hear the music again, he has to press the button a bunch of times, and pressing the button while they're still talking won't make it switch to the next thing.
Didn't realize when it was ordered how annoying the voices are to everyone or we wouldn't have bought it.
Wish you'd create different mode options on the bottom to be controlled with a switch: music only, music and inane phrases, and silent.</span>

We have had this toy for a little over a month, and it has withstood the roughness of my LO. The school bus has also taught my LO sayings and songs about being kind. It is cute listening to my LO singing along with the songs.
At first pushing the button was about listening to the audio... then came the WOW factor... the door opens, the stop sign pops out, and I can move the people around! This toy has kept the interest of my LO. It is also the fist toy brought out to share when company comes over! I would definitely recommend this toy.

It has a compact design and two little people that come with it. He really liked the door that opens when you press a button. Pressing the button also makes the stop sign swing open, and plays fun songs/messages. The bus rolls well, and after a summer of taking the bus to summer camp, my son loved being in control of where this little bus went. I think it is a fun toy, and kids would enjoy incorporating it into their creative play.</span>

The little people are well made. It has two buttons one opens the door and pops the stop sign out and the driver seat plays when you put the driver in the seat. Great toy for young ones . would recommend it. The box was fairly easy to open .you just have to pull the bottom off and cut three zip ties off.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this with both my two year old and four year old in mind, and I have to say I haven't been disappointed so far. It's really cute, and has been enjoyed by both children. I will say my two year old has played with it more, but I don't think it's lack of desire on the part of my four year old so much as the two year old doesn't want to share it with her very often.
The Little People stuff has changed in terms of details on the characters since my oldest (now 13) played with it. I do like the slightly taller and more detailed characters that come with the sets now. However, if you have some of the older, squatter characters, keep in mind they're a bit harder to get into the spots on this bus than the newer ones. Not impossible, just a bit more difficult. So that is a little bit of a downer. But it's really the only issue I have with this bus, as everything else about it is fine.
It's not too loud, which is always a bonus for a toy that makes noise and has no volume control or on/off switch. Obviously, you can remove the batteries if the noise is an issue for you, but this one really does an excellent job of being at a reasonable level. The noise is activated either via a button on the top (which also pops open the door and pops out the stop sign), or via the driver's spot. The two lights on top come on with the noise as well, sometimes solid, sometimes in a flashing manner.
I like that characters can be put in via a nicely sized opening at the top, or you can stubbornly try to constantly shove them through the door like my two year old prefers. They do fit nicely through the door as well. And the fact that the door includes a spot for a character is a nice touch as well. It has so far been just as sturdy as all the previous Little People stuff we have, so I imagine it will likely last as long as most of that as well.
Overall, I like this bus, and it's definitely been enjoyed by my two littlest. It's a worthwhile Little People item, whether you have mostly older stuff (like we do), or all newer stuff.</span>
