It is a great size for little hands to grab and manipulate. I like that there's a figure that can be removed and played with together or separately. We have owned the bigger vehicles from this line, and while those are great, they are a little heavier and chunkier, therefore less portable. The Little People Bulldozer and others in this line are a great size for playing with at home (using a car mat or flying solo) or taking on the road. Compact enough to carry on the go, but also big enough that it's not likely to get lost. It's nice and sturdy, even the shovel that moves up and down which I had expected him to break by now. The happy face is adorable. She often brings this toy with her for car trips. This is a very cute little toy for my 2 year old. The bucket lifts up and the driver can come out. It's a pretty basic toy with no extra bells and whistles. I like that it's something I don't need batteries for! It's the prefecture so my son can take it with him places. Very good, solid plastic.
