Overall I would say this is a fairly simple toy but we enjoy that it doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles and allows him to use his imagination more. The movements and light work easily. The right arm features a spring-loaded mechanism that requires the user to pull the arm upward, essentially winding it up and prepping it for attack; releasing the arm causes it to snap downward with a decent amount of force, but nothing that would cause harm to a child. The right hand will hold the hammer in several different positions, but these positions do not allow for much variety in the direction in which the attack is directed. The process of lifting the arm and releasing it can be a bit clumsy at times since the the feet can slip on a slippery surface, so the legs must be held to ensure that the whole robot does not topple over while winding the arm. The boxing glove projectile uses the standard spring-loaded mechanism found in other toys in this line, so expect similar performance from this one in terms of force and distance. It does project pretty far across the room if angled properly, so ensure that your children know not to aim at faces, etc. Thankfully the end of the projectile is shaped like a boxing glove, so it is more blunt than the typical missle- or arrow-type projectiles. The legs of the Battling Robot articulate at the hips, meaning that you can simulate walking or even sitting if desired, but this must be done manually of course (i.e. it does not walk on its own since the batteries only power the LED). The Joker himself stands in the torso of the robot and can hold the joysticks to remain in place during play. There is a button on the back of the robot that can be pushed to illuminate a small LED in behind The Joker, causing his chest to light up. They liked the shooter and the lights. They also liked the hammer, but it doesn&rsquo;t stay in the hand very well. Falls out a lot. So they ended up hitting each other with it ha ha. Luckily, it can&rsquo;t really hurt anyone. The joker is hard to make stay in, but it doesn&rsquo;t seem to bother them. All in all we like it and continue to play with it&hellip;without the hammer. The features are easy to locate and use. Only one ammo. So, would want to shoot it in an area where it won't get lost in a dark crack. Ammo flexible and does shot pretty far. Simple to load and shoot. Hammer is interchangeable with the robo and joker. Light is cool. Make it look like the robo is activated when it lights up. The robo hammer arm is kind of weird as it is alway on the down position. So when you lift the hammer arm springs back down.
