The capes are surprisingly well made. Oddly that is both my son and mine's favorite part of this toy. But this toy lacks any long term interest for my son. The arm motion to throw Batman's grappling hook is glitchy at best. He quickly lost interest after maybe 10 min. My 4 year old is very excited to learn more about Batman and his dog in the upcoming movie. The toy has been tested in the dirt, sand, and tub and is looking great still. The action in his arm doesn&rsquo;t really through the hook but the kids don&rsquo;t mind. He did get dirt in the joint and the action stopped, but a good cleaning saved it. My 2 and 5 year old have enjoyed playing with this. All the limbs are moveable and Batman's right arm springs back to place. We have a batmobile that they like having Batman drive. But they thought Batman's face was creepy, and they don't like that only one of his arms is poseable. The other arm flips back down on it's own, supposedly to throw the batarang, but we couldn't really get it to throw it. So they don't like playing with the Batman as they can't lose his arms/mine then the way they want to.
