They're shaped well for little hands and the rattle beads are large, so they make a softer sound in comparison to other rattles (which I greatly appreciate as a parent). The soft pom-pom ends really make these stand out; our baby likes to grab & squeeze them, but is also amused when I use the soft end to tickle her tummy.
All-in-all, these are excellent rattles and they look cute too!</span>

These are intended for kids 3 months and up. There are two maracas in the box. One end is clear with beads that rattle and the other end is a soft ball. These are easy for little hands to grip and make a soft sound when shaken. What I didn’t like about these is the tags that are on the balls. First there is a large tag describing the material of the ball – I was able to remove this tag. There is also a smaller “FP” tag which I thought might damage the ball if removed.
This is a good toy for young children to entertain themselves.</span>
