I really like the different types of soothing sounds and the projection light is awesome but my Daughter truly loves the Firefly effect. The plushy is a bonus when Supervising when she falls asleep I make sure to pull the soother and the plush out of the crib for safety. It's a great size for both the nursery or on the go and is extremely versatile. I love how you can use both items together, or just the bear or soother as a stand alone. The music options on the soother are pleasant and relaxing. I was also impressed with the light options and adore the firefly setting. It really does look like fireflies in a jar. I couldn't recommend this product any more. My one year old likes to look at the lights and the sounds are soothing and mimic her sound machine. My four year old loves the star projection and the firefly lights. The different sound to pick from are great, our little guy loves the ocean waves sounds to go to sleep to. The fun outside sounds was great when we were playing with the different lighting options. I love the easy to press button on top to activate the soothing sounds and light. Also makes it easy for light hand to push to change the light setting. I love that it's portable. We love the firefly lights on the side, it looks like there are fireflies caught in a jar. There are 4 sound modes which is a nice variety. The bear is great to snuggle and is very soft. It is a wonderful soother for baby to drift of to sleep to and also doubles as a fun nightlight for my older kiddos. I love having the option of the soft glow of the fireflies and the star projection for a little brighter light.There are 4 sound modes; music, nature sounds, whimsical (think spa music), and white noise. The sound quality is decent. You have 2 options for volume, low and high, with high not being too loud for a peaceful sleep. I also like that the lights and sound gradually dim/fade before turning off so it is not so abrupt. The lights stay on for about 15 minutes and the music goes off after 20 minutes. You can easily restart it in the dark by pushing the button on top of the lantern, although I did notice that if the music is still on but the lights are off, you cannot restart the lights by pushing the button on top. You would need to change the music or switch it to off then on again to get the lights to come back after they've turned off. The bear plush is cute and can be used for cuddling by the older kiddos or as a cute decoration next to the lantern soother. He even has a little Velcro so you could hook his arm around the handle and he will stay in place. He is very soft and great for snuggling. This is for my 6-month-old, although my almost 3-year/old has also shown interest in it. The soother is absolutely beautiful. I have 3 kids, so I have seen quite a few baby products. This one is definitely unique in that it draws you in and relaxes you. It is like a flame that you can&rsquo;t help but look towards, and the lantern goes from dim to slightly brighter and then dims again, again like a flame. There are a lot of options for what types of sounds you want to play, and honestly I&rsquo;ve only tried the ambient because I love it so much. I push the button when I begin nursing my baby to sleep, and it relaxes me so much. The light turns off after awhile but the sounds continue to play. If you want the light back on, you simply push the button. A toddler could easily learn to do this. The included stuffed bear has a Velcro arm that can be attached to the lantern. Honestly, I wish the lantern was sold without the bear as we already have plenty of stuffed animals, but it is a sweet touch. I would love for an addition of the lantern being able to project stars on the ceiling. That would give it a 5-star rating in my book. However, I would highly recommend this soother to any new parent. During play time, my baby likes being able to tap the button to easily turn the lantern off and on by himself.
