He was too big to use it as anything other than a play table, but still very much enjoyed it. The toys are a little boring for him at this age, though-- he loves the shape sorter, but everything else became quickly tiresome for him. It may not see much use once your little one is standing/walking. So many different ways to use this..can take apart and use on the floor...they can stand and move freely around the table or be inside and spin..The bright colors are perfect the activities are very stimulating and the giggles you will hear from far and near. I can use this with my 3 month old..I just placed a pillow under her feet so she could use her legs..as she still a shorty...and all the way up to my 4 yr old on the floor stacking and playing. My youngest daughter is 2 years old so bigger than what you would use for the seat portion ( although this doesn't stop her from trying to sit in it when we have when we're babysitting and the babies out of it). But she still has fun with the removable toy and with the shape sorter table. It's helped her get good at recognizing her shapes and properly fitting them in the holes. When we're babysitting and we do have it in the baby seat function all the kids like to play with the little ones because it's fun and engaging for all of them. It's easy to switch out the different functions and I love the versatility of the fact that it is a baby say it and that it's been so it's easy for baby to access all the different features. My 6 month old daughter has a jumper and I thought this in addition would be overkill. Boy, was I wrong. Her favorite part about this activity table in comparison to the jumper is that she gets to practice standing. This seat, while it turns 360 degrees, is stationary in comparison to the floor. If she wants to practice standing, pressure on her feet and she can stand up with support. My favorite part about this table is how useful it will be for a long time. It's a great place to sit my daughter down when I need free hands or when she wants to play. I like that when sitting in it is no longer appropriate, the seat comes out and it becomes a sorting table! I also like that the table top center can be used as a clip for the movable activity pods. This makes a quick on-the-go toy if I'll be spending time at another location and don't want to bring a giant toy with me to entertain my daughter. This is a great addition to any family with a baby. It is nice that it has the feature of being able to buckle it at different levels but once they hit the higher level they are almost out of the seat. Once it is a table, I wish that the shape sorter would click in and not just sit in the seat area. My son instantly took it off and wont leave it there. They weren't your normal red/blue/green color scheme and I thought that was great. My one year old loves this because he has the option to sit in it or walk around it. The attachments are super easy to put on and move with little effort. Set up was a breeze. I personally love the fact that it grows with your child. The only thing I found that I wasn't fond of was that the shape sorter didn't snap into the middle. It just sits there so it can spin in place which my toddler thinks is fun to take apart and run off with it. I know it's supposed to be easy to switch between modes, which it is but, I figured it would snap or click so it wasn't as easy to take off. No matter, we still love this activity center. It is an awesome table. Requires no batteries. I have a almost 2 yr old and watch my nephew who is 5 months old both love this toy. The center can be covered to create a table or the center piece can be used as a floor activity by clipping the toys in. The table is very simple to build but is one fixed height. The toys really work on the child's fine motor skills with pushing pulling and stacking toys and comes with a mirror for them to look at themselves with. The toys with the seat in can be pulled to the infants mouth to gnaw on.
