These blocks are for toddlers, 1+. I have a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old, and they love playing with these blocks. This is a big bag that comes with 80 blocks. The bag is also great to store the blocks in after the kids are done playing. The bag keeps them all neat, prefect for storage. The other good thing about the bag is that you can take them from room to room and place to place. This set is the pink set, so it comes with light pink, dark pink, yellow, orange, blue and purple blocks. The colors are very fun and festive. My kids have had other Mega Blok sets and I enjoy them as a parent because the blocks are large, so you never have to worry about them playing with them. The blocks are safe. My kids enjoy building houses, castles and towers and so much more. My kids like being creative and using their imagination. I would recommend this toy for toddlers. They are a fun and easy to use toy. She can build with them but the blocks no longer stay together. She makes a stack of them and when she tries to move it, it simply falls apart. The same thing happens when my husband or I build with the bloks. It is as if the plastic has stretched so the holes are too loose. Each set she received as gifts has the same issue. One, I wish there was a bigger variety of block types in the set, i was building with my daughter and kept coming across the need for a different piece. Secondly, the carrying/storing case was brilliant but the bag ripped on the side the third or fourth time we played with the blocks. Although the packaging is pink and the colored blocks are a bit more feminine this was used by my 5 year old and 1 year old sons. The large sized blocks are perfect for my 1 year old and still provide entertainment for older children. Their favorite part of this oversized blocks in building towers and trying to knock them down with cars and balls.
