The weight of the bottles seem just right, not too heavy. The nipples did leak on me a couple times but it was user error due to screwing too tight or not tight enough, have to find the sweet spot. These also heated up really nice and quick and love that I don't have to worry about bpa and other chemicals leaching into milk since they are glass! For this reason I love these glass bottles. The 4 ounce size is perfect for my daughter, as you can imagine glass does get heavier but they fit nicely in my hand. She also tends to drink quickly even with a slow flow nipple but the venting really limits the air that she gets. Having no extra parts to achieve this is so much better than others that I have had to wash. As a mostly breast-feeding mom I was a little unsure of how my baby would take the nipples on this bottle but was surprised at how well he latched. It was actually much better than the more breast-like shaped bottles we had been using. The venting on these nipples was also very surprising to me. I was shocked to see how well they vented and how my generally gassy baby had very little gas after using these bottles. The spiral design on the bottles is also a great touch as it creates a great place to rest your fingers while holding the bottle and they are very comfortable to hold. Overall, another really great product! I like the shape of the nipple and that there are no extra pieces to prevent colic. The gas release in the nipple is great at its job and requires no extra parts for cleaning. I also like the size of the bottle overall. I do wish that were some protection to prevent breaking on the outside of the bottle so that if they drop they don't break. So far I haven't had that happen but I am sure it will one of these days. I'm not a huge fan of the nipple but my baby didn't seem to mind much. These bottles are very durable for being glass but are heavy to carry if you are carrying a few in your diaper bag. I'm sure it's related to the vent. She's able to eat as fast as she wants and the air bubbles don't collapse the nipple &amp; slow her down. Just 4 pieces--bottle (glass, which I LOVE because it doesn't absorb odors and it just feels cleaner), vented nipple, ring, and cap. I have a four month old daughter who is breastfed, but occasionally takes bottles. Up to now I had always used plastic bottles and I am working on getting her more comfortable with bottle feeding so she is prepared for day care. These are now her primary bottles for several reasons - 1. The bottles are easy to clean and feel/look cleaner than plastic bottles; 2. My daughter likes the nipple; 3. She doesn't get gas after feeding with these; 4. Although just a bonus, I like the look and feel of these. I will say the nipple flow seems to be pretty strong, but my daughter is a fast/efficient eater so that works for her. Older babies tend to toss the bottle aside when they're finished and although I have not had a problem with them breaking or chipping, I still get nervous when I see it tossed. These bottles go above and beyond the typical glass bottle. They are very sturdy in construction and easily washed/sanitized. A huge added bonus is that they have a great new nipple system. No leaks + less air = happy baby and mom. Rather than just getting the generic cheap nipple that usually is included with the glass bottles, these Proflow nipples are leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. They are easy for her to hold. I love the glass. It's easy to clean, seems to keep liquids cold longer when that is desired, and I do not worry about safety - it is very thick and seems like it would be extremely unlikely to break. My baby has thrown hers over the side of the highchair several times with no apparent damage whatsoever to the bottle. The shape and size makes it easy to put the bottle on the side of my diaper bag. My 1 yo has been using sippy cups for a long time now but she still likes to drink from these bottles. I wish I had had them when she was a newborn and young baby drinking formula, because we never did find that perfect bottle and these seem like a good candidate. Classic, streamlined, easy to clean. They are thin instead of bulky and fat like the other ones we have, which makes it harder to hold. We feel like glass is easier to clean than plastic. Our daughter likes the flow of milk as well, drinks full bottles without stopping or crying. I really like the fact that they are glass, and they have a really nice shape that makes holding them without dropping them easy. Plus the measurements are easy to read on the side of the bottle. The nipple vents really well and again, is easy to clean. The bottle is solid, and even though I have dropped it in the sink while shaking, it didn't break and doesn't feel like it would break easily.
