At that point cupholders were the furthest thing from my mind! Fast forward several months and we try to use the cup holders. They are awful! We absolutely love everything else about the seats, the quick connect latch system is really great. Why every seat doesn't have that I'll never understand. The adjustable straps are really nice too. But in the end the cup holders were a deal breaker. These are our backup seats now. As she is still an infant, I want her to be rear facing. I was excited to purchase this car seat because of all of the great reviews. Unfortunately, this car seat is NOT easy to install if you do it the correct way. In order to put the seat belt in place you must remove the lining...I do not consider that an easy installation. My husband and I decided to keep the seat because it is very safe, but we are going to purchase another car seat to keep in the garage for grandparents, sitters, etc. This is simply to challenging to change from car to car. It is unfortunate that all of the people who wrote the review most likely did not properly install the seat. The instructions clearly state not to use the latches and the seat belt, not just the latches. I was very impressed with the style/design of the seat. Installation is incredibly easy with Suresafe 1 second connection. I am terrible at installing car seats, and even I can have this installed within a minute or two! We&rsquo;ve had 4 car seats over the course of my daughter&rsquo;s life, and maintenance on this one is by far the easiest of any of them. You don&rsquo;t have to uninstall the car seat to take off the cover for washing, and the harness doesn&rsquo;t require rethreading after you wash! I also love that the straps are easy to adjust&hellip;again, no rethreading the whole seat just the adjust them. We live in a very warm area, so the buckle pockets on the side are very nice for keeping those metal pieces cooler. The Infinite Slide Harness has been a feature that I have always wished would be implemented but never saw until now. Don't like messing with locking clips and seatbelts? This seat is SO nice! We're using it with our three year old daughter, who is tall for her age. I love that the harness adjusts to her shoulders, all we do is lift the harness up, put the harness on and then pull it tight. This is one of my favorite features that Evenflo has! We've been big fans of Evenflo seats for quite some time, and this new seat doesn't dissapoint! We have a 2003 Yukon XL, which doesn't have LATCH, but my 2004 Hyundai does. I love that this seat can easily be switched and installation takes just seconds with LATCH (and not much longer using seat belt installation). The recline on the seat helps you perfectly fit it in your car, I've seen other seats where you need to add towels or pool noodles to get the proper fit, but this seat fit perfectly in my car's seat. Our daughter really likes the seat and has not complained at all about sitting in the seat, it looks very comfortable and we haven't heard anything otherwise! The buckleholders are another great features. You may have noticed how hot those buckles get when in a hot car, and how it can be frustrating to have a child sit on the buckes. Well, just pop the buckles on the buckle holders and you don't have to worry about skin being burned, or having to pry the harness out from underneath the child. Overall, I think this is a great seat at a great price. We've done everything possible to keep them safe in the car including keeping our children rear facing for as long as possible, thoroughly researching car seat options, and visiting the state police station for lessons on how to properly install the car seats in the car. Even with our lessons from the police on installing car seats safely, I've still felt very nervous each time we had to install the seats ourselves. I've found that sometimes even when I think I've installed the seat correctly, it's actually not in the best position possible. 70% of car seats are incorrectly installed. I love that it's the last car seat we will have to buy him, since it's an all-in-one that goes to 110lbs. The SureSafe system makes it easy to install the seat with the Quick Connector LATCH and latch guides. I know that I am getting a secure installation that will protect my baby, and it can be switched between my husband's and my cars without too much effort. The e3 Side Impact Protection is another great feature. I don't worry about my son's safety when he is in this seat. That foam will help keep him safe if we are in an accident. Also, speaking of his safety, the buckle pockets on the Symphony LX are also very nice! They keep the hot metal away from his skin, and prevent me from having to dig for missing buckles when putting him in the car. Finally, another favorite feature of mine on this seat are the cup holders! It's hard to find seats with cup holders that are built in. When it comes to my son I'm a little extra concerned since he has Cerebral Palsy. Thankfully, the Symphony LX has e3 Side Impact&trade; Protection &ndash; three layers of engineered foam designed and tested to reduce side impact forces up to 50%. That system combined with a 5 point safety harness system gives me peace of mind. Once I had the car seat installed all of my kids had to test it out. I love that the car seat is rated from 5-110 pounds making it safe for all of my kids to ride in it. There are so many great features of the seat that are worth mentioning like the high weight limit so baby can use the seat from birth. I also love that baby can stay rear facing for a really long time because more and more parents need to realize that 1-year-old is not a magic number to turn baby around. 2,3, and even 4 years old is perfect for that! Straps getting in the way when you're putting the child in is a thing of the past with the convenient slots for the buckles to fit in on the side of the seat. It also helps protect the metal from getting hot and then burn baby. The straps adjustable with a turn of a knob, the height of the straps adjust with a slight pull instead of having to take off the cover to move them up a spot, 2 cup holders that really do fit almost every size bottle and sippy cup! My only complaint is that I actually DO NOT think the install is easy, quick, or convenient. If I was a first-time parent I could see this going terribly wrong and I wouldn't feel confident that I installed the seat correctly. There are too many options and &quot;modes&quot; for the seat to be strapped in.
