According to the directions the seat should not shift more than 1&quot; in any direction. I have tightened all buckles as much as humanly possible and I'd say it shifts 6&quot; in every direction. Have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 or 4 times, watched video, read instructions, etc. It is not possible to install this baby seat as securely as instructed by the manufacturer. The fabric is easy to clean. The buckles are extremely safe. My kids seem comfortable in them. They are SOOOOO easy to install and take out. Some things to note, but still love it.</span> <span itemprop="description">Easy to install , very big seat it touches the sides of both of my front seats in a Hyundai Tucson 2020. Have to research if this is a problem but so far so good. Very tight when cranked in place and love that it adjusts to grow with the baby. Got this after he grew out of the evenflo infant car seat that was also sensor safe. Although WARNING this seat stays in the car so if it&rsquo;s hot out and the inside of the car gets hot in the morning before you put your child in the seat, even if you air condition the car to a good temperature before putting your child in the seat, it for the first few minutes will tell you it&rsquo;s at critical temperature. It will eventually stop once it detects that it isn&rsquo;t actually 40+ degrees Celsius in temperature and settle back to the temperature it actually is in the seat. I like that it&rsquo;s safe overall it is a good investment, I like that it is looking out for the better interest and safety of my child even if it tells me critical alert for the first few minutes of the drive. I&rsquo;d rather know then not know, better safe than sorry. I read the manual front to back, made the necessary adjustments for my 12mo in rear-facing, and installed using EasyClick! I was pleasantly surprised at how little room this took up (rear-facing recline position 3). There&rsquo;s over an inch between the back of the EveryStage DLX and the back of the driver&rsquo;s seat! Some brands was lacking what I was wanting and needing for my baby. I heard wonderful things about this car seat, so I done my research and it was everything my baby needed and mommy is happy. She is so comfortable in her seat and her head stays in place. I absolutely love the ratchet latch system. It made installation super easy. Just crank until seat is secure and fold it back up. It's really that easy. The fabric of the car seat is awesome. She really doesn't make much of a mess now, but I know she will when she gets older. It makes sanitizing the car seat so much easier. I am one happy momma because my baby is happy, comfortable and safe in her car seat. I am pregnant again and I want another one of these car seats. I was not expecting to have trouble installing it in my Ford Explorer, it barely fits when it&rsquo;s rear facing. Even the Fire Department had trouble with it.
