I installed it by myself in just a few minutes, it’s so easy to open and close. I love that it can swing both ways or the stopper on the bottom prevents it from swinging whatever direction you don’t want. It’s a fairly pretty gate so it doesn’t look awful in my house. I love that it has 2 extenders so I can fit it in our larger doors if I needed. My only complaint is that sometimes the button on top sticks and I have to wiggle it a touch to get it to fully latch or unlatch.</span>

We’ve had other gates for containing our dog to one section of the house, bet when we had our baby, we needed something more secure. We love the install options (tension or screws), the ease of use for locking/unlocking and that its anti-scaling design will keep our daughter from climbing it when she gets to that age. Its a great and secure child/pet gate that looks way better that the typical child/pet gate.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This gate is very sturdy and well made. Follow instructions while putting together! Especially about not removing the zip tie on the gate until you are absolutely sure you have the gate where you want it. That would be the only draw back, you can not move the gate and install in another location unless you zip tie the gate together. You also want to be sure the two surfaces you are putting it in between are very sturdy and completely flat. Other than that, this is an extremely attractive gate with great height, easy open gate, and very sturdy when installed properly.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love the taller height of this gate. I have several gates in my house, and this is the tallest. I am not concerned about my 2 year old scaling it anytime soon! It was very easy to install. The finish on it is also nice and looks less like you're trying to keep your child out of certain rooms. I loved the ease of opening the gate. Easy for an adult to do but hard for a toddler to figure out. The gate can easily be configured to open just one way in either direction or swing both ways. The latching feature works great as well. This is by far my favorite gate in the house!</span>

Take something rubber, like we used the underside of a bath mat and use that to pull and unscrew the tan bumper from the inside white bumper. We thought it was broke, it was stuck!</span>

<span itemprop="description">We have two of these gates that we use to keep our dog from running into parts of the house when we're not home. We use one in a very narrow doorway and another in a very wide one. Both fit just fine, though I did use small blocks of wood on the wide door to make everything snug. The handle is a bit hard to use until you get used to it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">First, it does what is important in that it securely keeps kids from using the gate but the down side is that is extremely difficult for adults to activate the lock as well. I also can't get the two locking screws which secure the sliding extension to operate, either tighten or loosten (they aren't shown in the manual).
Fortunately, this adjustment is not needed once the gate is in place. The gate is easy to remove between grandchild visits and stows under a bed.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is the second evenflo gate we have purchased. The first, made similar, but had a different mechanism to open it. After 4 years of much use the first started not to open when engaging the handle, so we bought this one. It took about one day for my daughter to figure out how to open it. We have resulted in taking the first gate apart and trying to fix it because I cannot find it in stores. Very disappointed.</span>

All of the adjustment bumpers can be extended out to a different length if needed to allow the correct pressure to the gate for proper usage.
