I had been renting a hospital-grade pump before this purchase. I finally took my friend&rsquo;s recommendation to buy the Evenflo pump, taking the chance that it may not work as well as the rented pump. The Evenflo pump pumps out the same amount of milk (if not more) as the rented pump! Sure, it is quite loud compared to the rental, but it certainly does the job at a much lower cost. Note: The pump comes with two sets of silicone flange inserts in small (24.5 mm) and medium (28 mm), which can be placed into the large flange set (30 mm) that is made of hard plastic. I personally don&rsquo;t like the silicone flange inserts, as it seemed like they decreased the flow.
