The material is thin but very strong -- no worries about puncturing. The seems are well sealed and the zip top works easily -- no leaking so far. I like the tear-off top so I know the bag is clean, however, it doesn't always tear cleanly at the perforations. Not a huge deal as I've never had it compromise the integrity of the bag itself, although it does sometimes tear through the &quot;pour spout&quot;. There is an available adapter to pump directly into the bags -- haven't tried it as I prefer to pump into bottles (more accurate measurement and less spillage). The bags are printed with various encouraging messages, which don't affect function at all, but are a nice touch! I've had leaks and big rips in other top name brands which means catching milk in a container while thawing(annoying) or throwing all my hard work away(even more annoying). With evenflo so far I've had an easy time transferring milk to the bags, and writing on them. They thaw perfectly and can pour out great wheb you're ready to use the milk. That's important as well. I've used other brand that are awkward and difficult to pour milk from the.bag and it spills everywhere. They have a special tear off top that is supposed to tear into a spout, but I found that they do not easily follow the perforation and sometimes tear straight across which eliminates the spout. This doesn't result in any issues, but you lose the special spout feature. First I love the pull up remove part because you know each bag is sterile. Next I noticed how well the zipper worked. In the past i've had a hard time finding a zipper that can be trusted, but this one did not show any signs of leaks while I shook, jiggled and laid it against things in the freezer. I can't say much for the freezing faster because I have never really paid attention to how fast my milk froze in the other bags, but it was frozen solid the next time I checked. Another issue I had was that they didn't come with an adapter to hook up to a pump to pump directly into. They aren't just cute though, they are designed well for pumping moms. I loved the words of encouragement printed on each bag. The design of the bag makes it easy to pour heated up milk into a bottle with its spout design. This was important to me because spilling even a drop of breast milk is a crime. The bags held up well in the freezer and were easy to heat up in warm water. I was worried about the seal at first. I love being able to store breast milk in a more efficient manner. If you lay the bags flat before freezing, they freeze totally flat and then can be easily stacked. They take up much less freeezer space this way. The spout makes it so easy to pour from the bag into the bottle when you are ready to use them. It is difficult to measure the amount in the bag, so I recommend measure first and then pouring into the bag and labeling the amount.
